The \u201cBuilder\u201d magazine announced a\u00a0list of the best enterprises that were recognised during the 20th edition of the Builder Awards. Budimex was one of the awarded companies and was named Construction Company of the Year 2022 in\u00a0the General Contractor category. Moreover, the President of the Management Board, Artur Popko, was awarded in\u00a0the category of Construction Personality of 2022.<\/p>\n

Each year, \u201cBuilder\u201d awards construction companies for dynamic growth, well-established market position and achievements that stand out from the industry and competition. The magazine also recognises directors. The Personality of the Year award is given for efficient management, successfully extending the potential and competitive advantage of a\u00a0company, as\u00a0well as\u00a0resourcefulness, business intuition and supporting initiatives important for the growth of the industry.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn behalf of all the employees, I\u2019d like to\u00a0thank you for awarding Budimex with the title of Construction Company of the Year. I\u2019m glad that our work has been recognised and appreciated in\u00a0such a\u00a0way. I\u2019d also like to\u00a0thank all of our associates, partners and contractors who play a\u00a0substantial role in\u00a0our success. Last year, despite the challenging market conditions, we\u00a0managed to\u00a0improve our financial results. Our order portfolio grew as\u00a0well. As\u00a0a\u00a0result, we\u00a0can grow and engage in\u00a0new endeavours. We\u00a0focus on\u00a0business diversification while supporting energy transition at\u00a0the same time. We\u2019re looking for innovations and technologies which can allow us to\u00a0raise environmental neutrality and the effectiveness of our construction processes. Moreover, we\u00a0invest in\u00a0renewable energy sources like: wind farms, photovoltaic installations and green transport. Additionally, we\u00a0consistently build our position in\u00a0neighbouring countries. We\u00a0have begun the construction of the D1 Bratys\u0142awa-Triblavina motorway in\u00a0Slovakia, which is worth 111 million euros. Our German division, Budimex Bau, obtained construction contracts worth over 70 million zloty in\u00a02022,\u201d<\/em> says President of Budimex SA, Artur Popko.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is another award received by\u00a0Budimex this year. The company has been recognised on\u00a0the WNP Awards gala. These awards are given by\u00a0the editors of the WNP.PL website and the \u201cNowy Przemys\u0142\u201d economic magazine.<\/p>\n

Budimex is one of the biggest groups in\u00a0the construction industry in\u00a0Poland. As\u00a0a\u00a0general contractor, it offers services in\u00a0the following sectors: road, railway, airport infrastructure, residential buildings, energy, industrial and eco-friendly construction. Moreover, it has a\u00a0comprehensive offer regarding facility maintenance and waste management through its subsidiaries. Budimex also gradually develops its activities in\u00a0foreign markets \u2013 in\u00a0Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.<\/p>\n

The Builder Awards have been given for twenty years by\u00a0the editors and Academic Council of the \u201cBuilder\u201d monthly.
