Rules of conduct for contractors of Budimex SA<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n

At\u00a0Budimex, we\u00a0want to\u00a0pursue ambitious business goals with partners who share our values. That is why in\u00a0the Contractor Code we\u00a0set expectations for the companies we\u00a0work with in\u00a0terms of the rule of law, ethics and human rights. Here are our rules:<\/p><\/div>\n

Legal Compliance<\/h4>\n

The business and professional activity of the Contractor is carried out in\u00a0strict accordance with the law applicable in\u00a0all places of its operation.<\/p>\n

Ethical integrity<\/h5>\n

The business and professional activity of the Contractor and its employees (and by\u00a0\u201cemployees\u201d we\u00a0mean both persons performing work on\u00a0the basis of an employment contract and on\u00a0the basis of civil law contracts) is carried out with respect for integrity, in\u00a0accordance with the principles of honesty, avoidance of all forms of corruption, as\u00a0well as\u00a0the conditions and needs of individual entities involved in\u00a0it.<\/p>\n

The Contractor promotes among its employees appreciation and respect for acting in\u00a0accordance with these rules.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Respect for human rights<\/h5>\n

All activities of the Contractor and its employees are performed with respect for human rights and public freedoms contained in\u00a0the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.<\/p>\n

These basic principles translate into the following commitments:<\/h5>\n

  • The Contractor takes responsibility for creating a\u00a0work environment free from any kind of discrimination and behaviour characterized by\u00a0any type of violence.<\/li>\n
  • All employees are treated fairly and with respect by\u00a0their superiors, subordinates and colleagues.<\/li>\n
  • The Contractor provides its employees with a\u00a0safe working environment and undertakes to\u00a0constantly update the accident protection measures and strictly comply with the relevant regulations in\u00a0all places where it operates.<\/li>\n
  • All employees are responsible for strict compliance with occupational health and safety rules. They are also required to\u00a0use the equipment assigned to\u00a0them appropriately when carrying out hazardous work, to\u00a0provide their colleagues and subordinates with knowledge of occupational safety and to\u00a0encourage the use of appropriate safety measures.<\/li>\n
  • The Contractor does not allow or\u00a0use the work of minors, nor does it use any products and services derived from their work in\u00a0its business activity. At\u00a0the same time, it takes care of the fulfillment of the regulations of the International Labour Organization relating to\u00a0minors.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
