On\u00a020 July 2021, at\u00a0the Zegrze Pomorskie junction of the new S11 route under construction, Budimex, together with the contractors of the remaining sections, inaugurated the construction of the S11 route from Koszalin to\u00a0Bobolice over a\u00a0length of over 40 kilometres.<\/p>\n

This is the beginning of the most important transport corridor in\u00a0central Pomerania. S11 part of the \u201cway of life\u201d for central Pomerania<\/em> \u2013 said Andrzej Adamczyk \u2013 Minister of Infrastructure at\u00a0the start of the works.<\/p>\n

The S11 section implemented by\u00a0Budimex starts from the north at\u00a0the Koszalin Zach\u00f3d junction and ends in\u00a0the south at\u00a0the Zegrze Pomorskie junction. The total length of the section is 16.8 km.<\/p>\n

The construction and contract team that carries out this task is one of the most experienced in\u00a0our company in\u00a0the implementation of difficult road contracts, including sections of the S3 and S6 in\u00a0Western Pomerania <\/em>,\u201d said Cezary \u0141ysenko\u00a0 , Director of Infrastructure Construction at\u00a0Budimex SA, during the inauguration.<\/p>\n

The section under the contract worth PLN 471 million net is being implemented in\u00a0the design and build system. The contract for the construction of this section of the S11 was signed in\u00a0March 2020. The road with a\u00a0bituminous surface will be\u00a0built by\u00a0the end of September 2023 and will connect m.in.\u00a0section of the S11 road with the S6 route under construction.<\/p>\n

We\u00a0are glad that the Polish company is also building the history of this region along the new route. The determination of all administrative bodies in\u00a0the preparation of the documentation necessary to\u00a0issue the ZRID was at\u00a0a\u00a0very high level. We\u00a0will use every moment to\u00a0take advantage of this pace also during construction<\/em> \u2013 adds Cezary \u0141ysenko.<\/p>\n

The new S11 will significantly improve access to\u00a0the Baltic Sea and communication of Central Pomerania with the rest of Polish. As\u00a0part of the entire 40-kilometre section of the new S11, two motorway service areas and seven viaducts over the expressway, four bridges (including one 200 m long over the Radew River), five viaducts along the expressway and 23 culverts and animal crossings will be\u00a0built.<\/p>\n

Budimex is constructing every fourth kilometre of expressways and motorways in\u00a0Poland. Eighty percent of its road contracts are completed by\u00a0the company before the contract deadline. Budimex carries out road contracts to\u00a0a\u00a0large extent with its own equipment and people. At\u00a0the moment, the largest Polish general contractor is carrying out construction on\u00a0sections of the A1 in\u00a0the province of Szczecin. S61 in\u00a0Podlaskie Voivodeship, S5 in\u00a0Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship and S6 in\u00a0Pomorskie Voivodeship. The company employs over 7 thousand Polish engineers and designers.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
