On September 6, 2021. in Bielsk Podlaski, a ceremonial signing of the contract for the construction of the S19 Ha\u0107ki \u2013 Bielsk Podlaski expressway, which is part of the international Via Carpatia route, took place. The investor of the contract is the General Directorate for National Roads and\u00a0Motorways<\/strong> (GDDKiA).<\/strong><\/p>\n

As part of the investment, Budimex will be responsible for the construction of a section of the S19 expressway on the Ha\u0107ki \u2013 Bielsk Podlaski Zach\u00f3d section (with a junction) and a section of DK No. 66 to the existing DK No. 19. The contract value is PLN 265 million net.<\/p>\n

The section covered by the contract is 9 km of expressway with the Bielsk Podlaski P\u00f3\u0142noc and Bielsk Podlaski Zach\u00f3d road junctions. The investment also includes the construction of the Road Maintenance Circuit. In addition, seven viaducts, seven ecological culverts and two animal crossings are also to be built.<\/p>\n

The project is to be implemented in the \u201cDesign and Build\u201d formula. The start of construction is dated the second half of 2022. Budimex has 36 months to complete the contract \u2013 completion is expected in 2024.<\/p>\n

The entire S19 expressway is to be part of the international road connection Via Carpatia connecting Northern and Southern Europe. It is to be 570 km long and will run from the border crossing with Belarus in Ku\u017anica Bia\u0142ostocka to the border with Slovakia in Barwinek.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
