For over 12 years, Budimex has been supporting students who want to\u00a0start a\u00a0career in\u00a0the\u00a0construction industry, m.in.\u00a0through paid internships as\u00a0part of the\u00a0Budimex Academy programme. In\u00a0June this year. Its next edition has ended. What has the Polish leader of the construction market prepared for its apprentices this time?<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n

In\u00a0addition to\u00a0the opportunity to\u00a0gain valuable experience in\u00a0construction, Budimex offers students remuneration for their internships. All interns also receive a\u00a0private medical package, support from a\u00a0supervisor, the opportunity to\u00a0meet with the board, training in\u00a0Personal branding and Excel and numerous competitions.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0addition, this year, as\u00a0part of the Budimex Academy programme, an engaging, onboarding campaign was created entitled \u201cI recommend Gram\u201d. For three weeks, the trainees were given tasks on\u00a0a\u00a0special platform, such as\u00a0taking a\u00a0photo on\u00a0a\u00a0given topic or\u00a0answering a\u00a0question related to\u00a0construction. In\u00a0addition, they could recommend their friends for the indicated positions. Points were awarded for completed tasks \u2013 those who collected the largest number of them received cash prizes and gadgets.<\/p>\n

Over the course of the entire project, Budimex received over 30 CVs. Every year, more than 250 apprentices appear on\u00a0board the company, of which approx. 30% are later hired.<\/p>\n

\u2013 \u00a0In\u00a0the construction industry, in\u00a0addition to\u00a0theoretical knowledge, practice plays a\u00a0huge role. Therefore, our goal is to\u00a0enable young people to\u00a0learn the specifics of work in\u00a0the\u00a0profession while still studying. Thanks to\u00a0the experience and practical knowledge gained, young people can enter the labour market better prepared. Internships at\u00a0Budimex last from one month to\u00a0six months, and during this time the most important thing for us is the student\u2019s development \u00a0<\/em>\u2013 says Cezary M\u0105czka \u2013 Member of the Management Board \u2013 Director of Human Resources Management at\u00a0Budimex SA.<\/p>\n

For several years, the recruitment process for internships at\u00a0Budimex has been supported by\u00a0the \u201cBudimex CUP\u201d online game. You can play the role of an apprentice and perform various tasks. They are the actual duties performed by\u00a0interns at\u00a0Budimex. The game tests soft skills and health and safety awareness. In\u00a0the second stage, you can also test your technical knowledge of cubature, road and railway construction. The game was created not only for engineers, but\u00a0also for students of finance and economics. It allows engineers to\u00a0verify their knowledge before starting work, and for others \u2013 to\u00a0get to\u00a0know the construction industry and its specifics in\u00a0detail. The game is positively received in\u00a0the\u00a0student community. Users emphasize that it is an interesting experience and allows you to\u00a0feel the atmosphere of the company.<\/p>\n
