The progress of works on the S5 Nowe Marzy \u2013 Dworzysko section implemented by Budimex has already exceeded 50%. Construction works are focused on the main route of the road to ensure the maximum capacity of the new route as soon as possible.\u00a0 We plan to complete the works on the main road by the summer of 2022. The entire investment will be completed by the end of 2022 \u2013 in accordance with the contractual deadline.<\/p>\n

Budimex signed the contract for the construction of this section with the investor: the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways in Bydgoszcz in April 2020. The works are carried out on a section of the S-5\u00a0 expressway from the Nowe Marzy junction (without the junction) to the Dworzysko junction (with the junction) with a length of 23.3 km.<\/p>\n

Budimex continues the work after another general contractor, which completed only part of the works (29%). The contractual deadline for the construction is 22 months, excluding winter months.<\/p>\n
