Earthworks and foundations have also been completed. The construction carried out by\u00a0Budimex has been underway since 1 August 2021. The value of the investment is over PLN 350 million.  <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The plant will produce potato and corn snacks from supplies from Polish farmers. In\u00a0the implementation of the investment, Budimex\u00a0is responsible for the construction of the plant with\u00a0internal installations, including \u00a0electromechanical works, as\u00a0well as\u00a0land development and\u00a0technical infrastructure<strong>. <\/strong>The level of advancement of individual works is as\u00a0follows:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>Volume of earth processed: 117,625 m3<\/li>\n<li>Amount of aggregate for the construction of the platform: 29,000 m2 in\u00a0a\u00a0layer of 20 cm\u00a0thickness<\/li>\n<li>Amount of concrete: 5949 m3 (including structural concrete 4689 m3)<\/li>\n<li>Reinforcing Steel Quantity: ~753000kg<\/li>\n<li>Number of roads and temporary squares\u00a0: ~ 20770 m2<\/li>\n<li>Number of underfloor network: 3450 m ~3.5km<\/li>\n<li>Number of external networks: 4510 mb ~4.5km<\/li>\n<li>Amount of steel: steel structure of the hall -573973 kg<\/li>\n<li>Number of prefabricated reinforced concrete structures installed: 34 columns, 94\u00a0walls, 14 beams and 12 parapets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The area of the building plot is approx. 30.6 ha, and the built-up area approx. 54,700 m2. The investment is to\u00a0have the highest ecological parameters. The building is to\u00a0be\u00a0equipped with a\u00a0water recovery system, technological heat with heat conversion into cooling and heating. With a\u00a0view to\u00a0environmental protection, the company\u2019s own photovoltaics will also be\u00a0installed in\u00a0the office building and a\u00a0high-class factory wastewater treatment facility, as\u00a0well as\u00a0electric car power points. The plant will achieve climate neutrality by\u00a02035.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em>\u2013 In\u00a0\u015aroda \u015al\u0105ska, Budimex is developing the first PepsiCo plant\u00a0in\u00a0Europe\u00a0, whose design solutions are aimed at\u00a0organically reducing the carbon footprint of the facility already at\u00a0the construction stage. This investment will be\u00a0equipped with advanced and technologically most efficient production lines with the lowest consumption of energy, water and gas per 1 kg of production  <\/em>\u2013 says Artur Popko, President of Budimex SA.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Nearly half a\u00a0thousand workers are on\u00a0the construction site every day. They use over a\u00a0hundred different types of construction equipment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u2013  <em>The new PepsiCo plant will significantly increase our production capacity. In\u00a0addition, we\u00a0will use all the most environmentally friendly solutions already used in\u00a0other PepsiCo plants, as\u00a0well as\u00a0completely new ones.
