At\u00a0the end of March 2022, we\u00a0informed the Contracting Authority that since the submission of the Bid in\u00a0this procedure (November 2021), the market situation caused by\u00a0Russia\u2019s invasion of Ukraine has changed dynamically \u2013 which results in\u00a0a\u00a0dramatic increase in\u00a0the financial risk on\u00a0the part of the Contractor, and thus would also expose the Contracting Authority to\u00a0losses if it decided to\u00a0perform this contract.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Compared to\u00a0November 2021. The prices of construction materials (such as\u00a0asphalt, electrical wires or\u00a0steel products, as\u00a0well as\u00a0raw materials, including fuel prices) and labour increased significantly. In\u00a0some types of construction products, since February 2022, the prices of certain materials used in\u00a0road construction (steel, oil, aluminium, bitumen) have increased by\u00a0approx. 80%. The prices of steel products have already increased by\u00a0270% in\u00a0total since 2020. Asphalt prices increased by\u00a095% in\u00a0the same period. The price of aluminum has increased by\u00a0nearly 200% compared to\u00a02020, tin: 250%.<\/p>\n
