For the 11th time, the Polityka weekly, the consulting company Deloitte and the Responsible Business Forum have awarded Polish leaders of sustainable development and ESG as part of the Polityka CSR Leaves initiative. The gala of awarding the Leaves and awarding commemorative diplomas took place in the editorial office of the weekly \u201cPolityka\u201d in Warsaw. Budimex was among several dozen companies that were awarded such a distinction. As every year, in order to award companies with the Gold, Silver and White CSR Leaves of POLITYKA, the jury analysed the approach of companies from the perspective of environmental, social and corporate governance activities, and the ratings were awarded on the basis of questionnaires completed by companies developed in accordance with the guidelines of the ISO 26000 standard.<\/p>\n

The POLITYKA\u2019s CSR White Leaf is awarded to companies that declare the implementation of the most important management categories (e.g. labour practices, including a formalised employee evaluation system, environmental impact management system, social commitment and development of the local community) and continuously improve their activities in this area for the effective management of their company\u2019s impact on the environment.<\/p>\n

We are aware that as a company we do not operate in a vacuum. We are part of society and that is why we build our relationships and cooperation model based on the highest value \u2013 people. We strive to fulfil our role as a responsible entrepreneur, employer and good neighbour in the best possible way. We consistently implement the ideas of social responsibility and sustainable development. Another CSR Leaf among the awards we have won is the best confirmation of this\u00a0<\/em>\u2013 emphasised Anna Kary\u015b-Sosi\u0144ska, Director of the Human Resources Management Division at Budimex, who received the CSR White Leaf from Jerzy Baczy\u0144ski, editor-in-chief of Polityka, during the gala announcing the results of the ranking.<\/p>\n

Corporate social responsibility at Budimex also includes long-term projects supporting m.in. residents of communities adjacent to the company\u2019s construction sites. Parent Zone, under which Budimex creates and renovates spaces for the youngest patients and their parents in children\u2019s hospital wards. Also the Hello ICE program, which aims to improve the safety of children on the roads. Last year, Budimex also launched the #DomZSerca programme, under which, together with partners, it builds houses for poor families with many children. The first such house was built in Wierzbica near Radomsko. Another such house is currently being built in Brusy in Pomerania.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
