\n Budimex, in\u00a0consortium with Strabag, is commissioning a\u00a012-kilometre section of the S14 expressway, which is the southern section of the western bypass of \u0141\u00f3d\u017a. The investor is the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways in\u00a0\u0141\u00f3d\u017a. <\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

The consortium implemented the investment in\u00a0the \u201cDesign and Build\u201d system. The value of the entire investment, including the additionally completed Teofil\u00f3w Junction, amounted to\u00a0PLN 512 million. net As\u00a0part of the investment, 4 road junctions and 17 engineering structures were built. The wearing surface was implemented in\u00a0asphalt concrete technology.<\/p>\n

The biggest engineering challenge was to\u00a0remove the collision of the new transmission networks in\u00a0the right-of-way with the previously existing underground installations: water, energy, gas.\u00a0 There were over 200 such points<\/em> ,\u201d says Cezary \u0141ysenko, Director of Infrastructure Construction at\u00a0Budimex SA.<\/p>\n

At\u00a0key moments, 220 units of construction equipment and nearly half a\u00a0thousand people worked on\u00a0the construction site. Construction works began in\u00a02019.
