July 8, 2022 Slovak N\u00e1rodn\u00e1 dia\u013eni\u010dn\u00e1 spolo\u010dnos\u0165, a. s. The National Roads Administrator in\u00a0Slovakia has selected the bid of Budimex S.A. as\u00a0the most advantageous in\u00a0the tender procedure for: the construction of the D1 Bratislava-Triblavina motorway with a\u00a0length of 3.6 kilometers in\u00a0the design and build formula.<\/p>\n

This is the first contract won by\u00a0Budimex in\u00a0Slovakia since entering this market in\u00a02021 and the third contract won abroad in\u00a0the last year (Budimex had previously won two construction contracts in\u00a0Germany).\u00a0 Outside the Polish market, Polish Budimex is also active in\u00a0Lithuania, Germany and the Czech Republic in\u00a0the field of energy, road and rail construction.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the construction is to\u00a0rebuild the motorway and other related facilities. This means the full expansion of the D1 motorway, including the replacement of the road structure from Vajnor to\u00a0the Triblavina junction and the provision of a\u00a0transport link between the D1 and D4 motorways. The construction will include the construction of intersection collectors from the Vajnory intersection to\u00a0the Ivanka interchange, coordination with the D4 motorway and replacement of the roadway in\u00a0the M\u00daK Triblavina area, as\u00a0well as\u00a0the completion of the IT system. Coordination with the D4 motorway means coordination with the already built fragments of the Ivanka Sever D4 junction, which will require modification in\u00a0terms of the construction of detours, and the completion of some of the D4 motorway facilities leading under the D1, including obtaining the necessary permits.<\/p>\n

The implementation of the task in\u00a0question must take place while ensuring appropriate constant traffic continuity. The investment includes the construction of 19 engineering structures, of which the two longest structures are located at\u00a0the junction crossing the motorway, each 138 meters long. The value of the offer is EUR 110 million 850 thousand net. Budimex will start design work immediately after signing the contract.\u00a0 Budimex will have 3 years from the signing of the contract to\u00a0carry out the works. The road will be\u00a0covered by\u00a0a\u00a05-year warranty.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
