On\u00a019 August 2022, two months before the contract deadline, Budimex commissioned the Smolajny bypass along national road No\u00a0. 51. The contract for this task with the Olsztyn branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways was signed on\u00a0December 17, 2020, and the\u00a0works began in\u00a0April 2021. This is the first completed bypass as\u00a0part of the government\u2019s Program for the construction of 100\u00a0bypasses for 2020-2030.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The investment consisted in\u00a0the expansion of the road in\u00a0the existing and partly in\u00a0the new track. The value of the contract for a\u00a0section of the road with a\u00a0total length of 1.76 km was PLN 26\u00a0million, and the cost of the investment after indexation is over PLN 30 million. \u2013 Thanks to\u00a0the new infrastructure, safety, comfort and smoothness of driving will be\u00a0significantly improved. In\u00a0addition, the length of the journey will be\u00a0shortened <\/em>\u2013 says Cezary \u0141ysenko, Director of Infrastructure Construction at\u00a0Budimex. \u2013 Budimex is implementing 5 more investments as\u00a0part of the 100 Ring Road Programme<\/em> \u2013 adds Cezary \u0141ysenko<\/p>\n

The task included:<\/p>\n

\u2013 1.75 km of the national road DK51 with a\u00a0roundabout, GP class;<\/p>\n

\u2013 0.16 km of class Z\u00a0county road;<\/p>\n

\u2013 0.72 km of access roads;<\/p>\n

\u2013 pedestrian and bicycle path;<\/p>\n

\u2013 378 linear meters of road culverts;<\/p>\n

\u2013 reconstruction of 3 LV\u00a0and MV power collisions;<\/p>\n

\u2013 reconstruction of 2 water supply collisions;<\/p>\n

\u2013 reconstruction of the telecommunications line;<\/p>\n

along with the construction of the accompanying technical infrastructure, i.e. road lighting, service ducts and rainwater drainage.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Despite difficult soil and water conditions and rising prices of key construction materials, we\u00a0maintained a\u00a0high pace of work and\u00a0were able to\u00a0complete the investment ahead of schedule \u2013 <\/em>says Cezary \u0141ysenko. \u2013 Very good cooperation with the investor, i.e. the Olsztyn branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, also helped us in\u00a0this achievement <\/em>\u2013 adds Budimex\u2019s Director of Infrastructure Construction.<\/p>\n

The implementation of the task also included the construction of environmental protection devices and\u00a0the planting of over 1000 trees and shrubs.<\/p>\n

Budimex has extensive experience in\u00a0the construction of infrastructure investments. Currently, the general contractor is carrying out m.in.\u00a05 more bypasses from the government\u2019s Program for the construction of 100 bypasses for 2020-2030.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
