On\u00a021 September, Budimex was awarded the Award of the Year of the Federation of Polish Entrepreneurs \u2013 Leader of Sustainable Development. The award was received on\u00a0behalf of the company by\u00a0Artur Popko \u2013 President of Budimex SA.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The award was granted for Budimex\u2019s activities in\u00a0the field of environmental protection, circular economy, low-emission and social activities. The President of Budimex paid special attention to\u00a0the social aspect in\u00a0the acknowledgements.<\/p>\n

We\u00a0counteract irregularities in\u00a0relations with other entities: subcontractors and contractors. In\u00a0the opinion polls of over 300 construction subcontractors in\u00a02022, we\u00a0were again indicated as\u00a0the most reliable contractor among all general contractors in\u00a0Poland\u00a0<\/em>\u2013 said Artur Popko \u2013 President of Budimex during the award ceremony. \u00a0Thank you for noticing Budimex\u2019s efforts put into a\u00a0sustainable policy in\u00a0the field of business, the environment, cooperation with local communities \u2013 this is a\u00a0very wide spectrum of activities and responsibilities \u2013\u00a0<\/em> commented Artur Popko \u2013 President of Budimex SA on\u00a0the award from FPP.<\/p>\n

Particularly important for the Budimex Group are ESG issues related to\u00a0its own staff, including: health and safety, education and development opportunities, and ethics. According to\u00a0experts, these issues have been addressed at\u00a0a\u00a0high level for many years.\u00a0 In\u00a0the environmental area, many processes are carried out at\u00a0the following levels: emission reduction, RES, circular economy and transport. Budimex conducts long-term projects to\u00a0support, m.in, residents of communities adjacent to\u00a0the construction sites carried out by\u00a0the company. \u2013 Budimex\u2019s flagship initiatives include, m.in, the Parent Zone, under which it creates spaces for the youngest patients and their parents in\u00a0children\u2019s hospital wards, Hello ICE, which aims to\u00a0improve the safety of children on\u00a0the roads, or\u00a0Budimex for Nature, focused on\u00a0pro-ecological activities.<\/p>\n

The Federation of Polish Entrepreneurs is one of the three largest economic self-government organizations \u2013 a\u00a0member of the Social Dialogue Council. The Federation of Polish Entrepreneurs is a\u00a0representative organization associating entrepreneurs, a\u00a0member of the Social Dialogue Council, whose overarching goal is to\u00a0ensure proper development and safety of the most important entities on\u00a0the Polish labor market \u2013 employers and employees.<\/p>\n

The jury of the FPP Award of the Year includes, among others: Beata Daszy\u0144ska Muzyczka \u2013 President of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, Aleksandra Gren \u2013 Member of the Management Board of Fiserv Polska, Gertruda U\u015bci\u0144ska \u2013 President of the Social Insurance Institution, Marek Kowalski \u2013 Chairman of FPP, Micha\u0142 Mierzejewski \u2013 President of the Management Board of PMI Polska, Arkadiusz P\u0105czka \u2013 Vice-President of FPP and Dariusz Blocher \u2013 Director of the Ferrovial Group for Europe.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
