The Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians awarded the best construction sites in\u00a0Poland in terms of engineering completed in 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The following investments were awarded to Budimex:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>Research and Development Centre of PKN Orlen in P\u0142ock<\/li>\n<li>Sybir Memorial Museum in Bialystok<\/li>\n<li>\u201cZASPA VVITA\u201d in Gdansk<\/li>\n<li>Wi\u015blany Mokot\u00f3w Housing Estate V stage<\/li>\n<li>Construction of stage B \u201cOLYMPIC\u201d as part of the \u201cMi\u0144ska 69\u201d housing estate in Warsaw<\/li>\n<li>NIEMENA multi-family residential building with a garage hall with road and technical infrastructure in Pozna\u0144<\/li>\n<li>Fredry 6 investment in Krak\u00f3w \u2013 Stage II (Consortium of companies: Budimex SA, Przedsi\u0119biorstwo Budowlano-Handlowo-Transportowe \u201cEdmund Le\u015b\u201d)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>The PKN Orlen Research and Development Centre<\/strong>, which received the first degree award, is a structurally and technologically advanced investment consisting of\u00a0eight facilities. The scale of the project is evidenced by the huge material outlays used to build the facility \u2013 750 tons of steel were used to make it \u2013 3 times more than the total weight of the Statue of Liberty. The complex of office and industrial buildings combining\u00a0research and\u00a0warehouse functions includes m.in. a technical building with\u00a0a laboratory, research and testing facilities with\u00a0a mapping and\u00a0piloting hall with an area of\u00a0nearly 2000 m\u00b2 and the buildings of the sample and\u00a0raw materials warehouse. As\u00a0part of the investment, an external warehouse with\u00a0an installation for preparing fuel mixtures was also built, as well\u00a0as an office building, which is the administrative base of the entire complex and all the necessary technical infrastructure. The construction works carried out by Budimex also included the construction of infrastructure accompanying the buildings: internal roads, car parks and manoeuvring areas. The R&#038;D Centre is located on an area of\u00a043,000\u00a0m2.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>The Sybir Memorial Museum <\/strong>is a special investment, the mission of which is to document and commemorate the fate of Polish citizens deported to Siberia, primarily during World War II, but also in the times before and after its end. The scope of works carried out by Budimex included the reconstruction of the existing post-military warehouse at ul. W\u0119glowa and the construction of a new part of the facility for the needs of technical and administrative facilities. In order to implement the program assumptions, warehouse building No. 5 was adapted, in which the main exhibition and the part added for accompanying functions were placed. An outdoor exhibition on the reconstruction of buildings, wagons, as well as elements of the Polish Army\u2019s armament was also included. The new part of the museum facility has been shaped in such a way as not to disturb the foundation of the existing warehouse.\u00a0The building area is 3705.00 m2, the usable area is 5700.00 m2, and the building volume is 28,388.00 m3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The awards were received by representatives of Budimex SA, composed of: Jakub Nagraba \u2013 Director of the General Construction Division, Marek Ku\u0142ak \u2013 Director of the Contract for the construction of the Sybir Memorial Museum and Artur Adamus \u2013 Contract Director of the Research and Development Centre of PKN Orlen in P\u0142ock.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The title of the Construction of the Year is won by 45 of the best construction sites in Poland.
