As\u00a0part of the \u201cParent Zone. Budimex for Children\u201d, another space for the youngest patients has been created. At\u00a0the Provincial Children\u2019s Hospital im.\u00a0J\u00f3zef Brudzi\u0144ski in\u00a0Bydgoszcz, a\u00a0playground has been renovated, which will make the recovery time of young patients more pleasant and\u00a0speed up the recovery process.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cParent Zone. Budimex for Children\u201d is a\u00a0nationwide social programme initiated and\u00a0fully financed by\u00a0Budimex SA. As\u00a0part of the campaign, spaces for children and their parents are created in\u00a0children\u2019s wards of Polish hospitals, which allow them to\u00a0discover the world through play and being together with\u00a0their loved ones. \u00a0Thanks to\u00a0places such as\u00a0Parent Zones, young patients can break away from thoughts about the disease for a\u00a0moment and spend time in\u00a0an interesting way. The program also supports parents who accompany their children in\u00a0this difficult time for them.<\/p>\n

The opening of the 41. Parent Zone in\u00a0Bydgoszcz took place on\u00a0November 23 this year. At\u00a0the Provincial Children\u2019s Hospital im.\u00a0J\u00f3zef Brudzi\u0144ski in\u00a0Bydgoszcz, the playground has gained a\u00a0modern, child-friendly look! The toys that were previously there were dismantled and renovated, and additional attractions were also installed. A\u00a0new surface was made thanks to\u00a0the Director of the Northern Branch of Budimex Region 1 \u2013 Rados\u0142aw Slesar, who obtained the support of Tamex Sports Facilities S.A. This company made the\u00a0surface pro bono. In\u00a0addition, the aesthetics of the paths around the playground were improved, and the sanitary trimming of trees in\u00a0the park was made. Budimex SA volunteers played a\u00a0large role in\u00a0the implementation of these tasks.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The idea and main goal of the \u201cParent Zone. Budimex for Children\u201d is to\u00a0create more comfortable conditions for sick children and their parents to\u00a0stay with their children in\u00a0hospital, and thus improve the well-being of children and\u00a0facilitate their faster recovery. The project has a\u00a0broader educational dimension \u2013 it promotes emotional benefits and support for the treatment process resulting from the participation of\u00a0parents in\u00a0the care of a\u00a0sick child. This is the 41. Parent Zone, the program has been running continuously for 10 years. Over 1 million children and parents have already benefited from the Parent Zones throughout Poland. \u00a0Depending on\u00a0the needs and conditions of the hospital, different spaces are renovated and arranged \u2013 in\u00a0the case of Bydgoszcz, it is a\u00a0playground. The Parent Zone is a\u00a0huge commitment of volunteers, Budimex employees, who actively participate in\u00a0the renovation of the rooms. I\u00a0would like to\u00a0thank our engineers and foremen in\u00a0Bydgoszcz for this effort<\/em> \u2013 says Martyna Wr\u00f3bel, Director of the Communication Office of Budimex SA.<\/p>\n

On\u00a0behalf of the hospital, the event was attended by: Danuta Kurylak \u2013 Deputy Director for Internal Affairs. Jaros\u0142aw Cegielski \u2013 Deputy Director for Internal Affairs and \u0141ukasz Lipi\u0144ski \u2013 Logistics Manager.<\/p>\n

The main contractor and sponsor of the project, Budimex SA, was represented by: Rados\u0142aw Slesar \u2013 Director of the Northern Branch of Region 1, Directorate of General Construction, Mariusz Hurylski \u2013 Director of the Northern Branch of the Directorate of General Construction, Martyna Wr\u00f3bel \u2013 Director of the Communication and Public Relations Office, Micha\u0142 Wrzosek \u2013 Spokesperson, Micha\u0142 Myzyk \u2013 Site Manager, Anna Bazan-Korona \u2013 Specialist for Construction Department. communication and Budimex volunteers.<\/p>\n

\u2013 We\u00a0are returning to\u00a0the hospital after 8 years. Budimex was the general contractor of the Provincial Children\u2019s Hospital in\u00a0Bydgoszcz. Now we\u00a0are to\u00a0carry out smaller construction works, but socially, with the involvement of our people, suppliers and the help of the hospital staff. We\u00a0are glad that we\u00a0have implemented the Parent Zone in\u00a0such a\u00a0form, different from the others, and that thanks to\u00a0this Zone, hospital patients will be\u00a0able to\u00a0spend time actively also outside the hospital building<\/em> \u2013 says Rados\u0142aw \u015alesar \u2013 Director of the General Construction Division Region of Budimex SA.<\/p>\n
