Budimex employees implementing the railway contract in E\u0142k got involved in helping the local community and renovated the roof of the building of a charity organization \u2013 Occupational Therapy Workshops at the Catholic Association of the Disabled of the E\u0142k Diocese. As part of further support, the contract will also organize a Christmas Fair at the construction office.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The WTZ building in E\u0142k has been protected from cold and rain \u2013 Budimex volunteers have strengthened the roof, including the m.in. They replaced its covering. WTZ are the neighbours of the construction of the E\u0142k Railway Station \u2013 hence the high involvement of the general contractor in the life of the local charitable institution.<\/p>\n

The organization\u2019s charges spend time at the WTZ doing artistic, ceramic, modeling and technical work, as well as taking part in rehabilitation and music and theater classes. Therefore, as part of further cooperation, on December 15\u00a0this year. Budimex will organise a Christmas Fair, during which all the works of the foundation\u2019s charges will be available for purchase.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The event will be open, and people who want to support the WTZ are welcome at the Budimex construction office at ul. Armii Krajowej 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The money collected during the fair will be used to purchase more art supplies at the WTZ<\/em> \u2013 says Miko\u0142aj Wa\u015bniewski, Contract Director at Budimex.<\/p>\n

The modernization of the E\u0142k railway station has reached 40 percent. advancement. The scope of the investment includes the reconstruction of railway tracks with a total length of 38.3 km (in\u00a0including 3.8 as an option) together with the subgrade and drainage as well as the Railway Control Devices at the E\u0142k Osobowy and E\u0142k Towarowy stations; Buildings 118\u00a0 turnouts (including 2 as an option); construction of 5 platforms (including 2 options); a total of 2600m of edge (400m as an option) adapted to the needs of people with disabilities with full infrastructure; reconstruction of the overhead contact line and the network and lines with railway power equipment; construction of a control room building with new equipment at the E\u0142k station. On average, approx. 140 units of equipment and nearly 400 people. The value of the contract is nearly PLN 587 million.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n
