With reference to Stock Exchange Report No. 72\/2022, the Management Board of Budimex S.A. explains that as a result of the decision of court authorities (Provincial Administrative Court in Warsaw), independent of the contractor or investor, the decision on environmental conditions issued on 4 June 2021 was repealed. by the General Director for Environmental Protection and the preceding decision of the Regional Director for Environmental Protection in Bia\u0142ystok for the design and construction of the S19 expressway on the Bia\u0142ystok West \u2013 Ploski section. On the basis of this decision, the Budimex \u2013 Bia\u0142ystok West \u2013 Ksi\u0119\u017cyno contract was implemented.<\/p>\n

This decision also applies to sections designed in the Design and Build system by two other general contractors of the S19 route and is not related to design works.<\/p>\n

The reason for withdrawal from the contract is not attributable to either Budimex S.A. or the investor, i.e. GDDKIA. The design work carried out by Budimex on the basis of the existing environmental decision has been carried out and can be used for further work after obtaining a new environmental decision. We are in constant contact with GDDKiA to work out solutions aimed at obtaining a new environmental decision as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
