Press release of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA)<\/em><\/p>\n

The Pomeranian Voivode has issued a\u00a0ZRID decision for the longest section of the S6 route in\u00a0the Pomeranian Voivodeship, between Le\u015bnice and Bo\u017cepole Wielkie. Thanks to\u00a0this investment, drivers will be\u00a0able to\u00a0travel faster towards the Tri-City, and the residents of L\u0119bork will be\u00a0able to\u00a0travel faster to\u00a0the southern bypass of the city. The contractor for the investment is Budimex.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0The S6 expressway will connect Szczecin with the Tri-City. In\u00a0December, we\u00a0made the Kashubian Route available to\u00a0drivers, and now the Voivode has given permission to\u00a0build its continuation in\u00a0the direction of S\u0142upsk. This is good news for anyone who cares about a\u00a0coherent transport network in\u00a0Poland. Such a\u00a0coherent network is being built by\u00a0the current government<\/em> \u2013 said Minister of Infrastructure Andrzej Adamczyk.<\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0Work on\u00a0the construction of the remaining part of the S6 is gaining momentum. Financial guarantees of 2020 cause that today nothing will stop the completion of the construction of the S6. We\u00a0can see the importance of this investment by\u00a0driving along the already opened Kashubian Route. And soon driving all the way between the Tri-City and L\u0119bork, S\u0142upsk and Koszalin<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 says government spokesman, Minister Piotr M\u00fcller.<\/p>\n

About the task<\/h4>\n

The decision on\u00a0the permit for the implementation of the road investment (ZRID), with the rigor of immediate enforceability, allows for the commencement of construction works in\u00a0the field. The S6 expressway between Le\u015bnice near L\u0119bork and Bo\u017cepole Wielkie will be\u00a0a\u00a0dual carriageway, with two lanes in\u00a0each direction along with\u00a0an emergency stop lane. On\u00a0a\u00a0route of approx. 22 km will be\u00a0built at\u00a0the following junctions: L\u0119bork Po\u0142udnie, L\u0119bork Wsch\u00f3d, \u0141\u0119czyce, and the Bo\u017cepole Wielkie junction will be\u00a0expanded.<\/p>\n

As\u00a0part of the investment, m.in are planned. construction of 17 large engineering structures, including two flyovers, as\u00a0well as\u00a011 smaller structures. Roads intersecting with the future expressway will be\u00a0rebuilt, and access roads will be\u00a0built to\u00a0provide access to\u00a0individual properties. The route will be\u00a0equipped with infrastructure to\u00a0protect the environment \u2013 animal crossings, acoustic screens, drainage system along with rainwater treatment.<\/p>\n

Thanks to\u00a0the construction of the expressway, the passage on\u00a0this section of the S6 will be\u00a0shortened by\u00a0half, and safety and comfort of driving will improve. The route will be\u00a0a\u00a0great investment stimulus for the adjacent areas, ensuring their connection through junctions with the expressway network.<\/p>\n

Let us remind you that the contract for the implementation of this investment\u00a0was signed on\u00a0July 29, 2021. The contractor is Budimex, and the value of the contract is over PLN 718.6 million. The first vehicles will travel on\u00a0the new route in\u00a02025\u00a0.<\/p>\n

So far in\u00a0progress<\/h4>\n

At\u00a0the end of last year, we\u00a0commissioned three sections of the S6 expressway between Bo\u017cepole Wielkie and Gdynia, with a\u00a0length of approx. 42 km. A\u00a0section of the Tri-City Metropolitan Bypass is already under construction, between the Chwaszczyno and \u017bukowo junctions. Another five sections of expressways are waiting for the ZRID decision to\u00a0be\u00a0issued: four between S\u0142upsk and Le\u015bnica and the remaining part of the Tri-City Metropolitan Bypass. We\u00a0should successively receive them in\u00a0the first half of this year.<\/p>\n

Payment of compensation for real estate<\/h4>\n

The issuance of the ZRID decision, with pain of immediate enforceability, defines the boundaries of the area to\u00a0be\u00a0taken over for the construction of the road and enables the commencement of the compensation procedure for the real estate taken over for the benefit of the State Treasury. The administrative proceedings aimed at\u00a0determining the amount of compensation will be\u00a0conducted by\u00a0the Pomeranian Voivode. Independent experts appointed by\u00a0him \u2013 property appraisers \u2013 will estimate the value of the property, which will be\u00a0the basis for issuing a\u00a0compensation decision. The compensation decision will be\u00a0the basis for GDDKiA to\u00a0pay compensation for the seized real estate.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
