Budimex focuses on\u00a0young people. The general contractor continues its cooperation with the Zwolnieni z\u00a0Teorii Foundation \u2013 an organization which, based on<\/strong> modern teaching methodology, develops pro-innovative competences in\u00a0young people, needed at\u00a0work and in\u00a0real life, such as: empathy and a\u00a0sense of agency, creativity, teamwork, communication and problem solving. The campaign is addressed to\u00a0students of construction technicians and aims to\u00a0develop their competences. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Budimex, together with the Zwolnieni z\u00a0Teorii Foundation, went on\u00a0a\u00a0tour of schools all over the country and\u00a0created an original programme \u201cPractice that will stay with\u00a0you\u201d. Thanks to\u00a0it, 34 teams of students have been working on\u00a0CSR projects since November 2022. Students who have joined the programme can count on\u00a0substantive support from Budimex. The company\u2019s experts answer the questions of young people on\u00a0an ongoing basis through a\u00a0specially created communication channel, and\u00a0in\u00a0January a\u00a0Q&A session with specialists was organized.<\/p>\n

\u2013 We\u00a0are happy to\u00a0support the education system and\u00a0share practical knowledge in\u00a0the field of construction with young people in\u00a0order to\u00a0support the education system. We\u00a0hope that we\u00a0will also be\u00a0able to\u00a0encourage students to\u00a0study in\u00a0construction-related fields<\/em> \u2013 says Marta Sobo\u0144, Head of the Recruitment and Employer Branding Department at\u00a0Budimex.<\/p>\n

Budimex started cooperation with the Zwolnieni z\u00a0Teorii Foundation last year. At\u00a0the beginning, a\u00a0survey was conducted among students of construction technicians, the purpose of which was to\u00a0collect information about brand recognition, as\u00a0well as\u00a0about the professional plans of young people. The online survey was completed by\u00a0355 people. In\u00a0September 2022, Budimex employees together with the Zwolnieni z\u00a0Teorii Foundation set off on\u00a0a\u00a0tour to\u00a0selected technicians across Poland. It was possible to\u00a0reach 127 schools in\u00a0person, and\u00a0almost 12 thousand took part in\u00a0the meetings. Students. In\u00a0addition, promotional materials were sent to\u00a070 outlets as\u00a0part of the remote tour.<\/p>\n

The visits to\u00a0the schools resulted in\u00a0Budimex\u2019s cooperation with almost 40\u00a0technical schools in\u00a0the country. The company\u2019s employees have already started to\u00a0conduct educational lectures for students of these institutions. Young people were also invited to\u00a0open days at\u00a0the investments of the largest general contractor in\u00a0Poland \u2013 the construction of the Warszawa Zachodnia railway station, the Port of Gdynia and the railway drawbridge over the Regalica River in\u00a0Podjuchy. Students also have the opportunity to\u00a0do\u00a0internships in\u00a0the company, which will start on\u00a0March 1 this year.<\/p>\n

The three best projects will be\u00a0awarded, and the winning schools will be\u00a0funded, depending on\u00a0the needs, by\u00a0Budimex to\u00a0renovate the classroom or\u00a0equip it with equipment, e.g.\u00a0 computers. On\u00a0April 21, at\u00a0Warsaw\u2019s S\u0142u\u017cewiec district, a\u00a0ceremonial finale will take place, which will summarize the achievements of young talents.<\/p>\n

Budimex has been supporting young people on\u00a0their career path for a\u00a0long time. The internship program has been underway for many years, thanks to\u00a0which over 1400 people have already gained their first professional experience. The Budimex Startup Challenge competition, addressed to\u00a0innovative enterprises and young technology companies offering products, services and solutions in\u00a0the field of energy, renewable energy sources and green technologies in\u00a0construction, also turned out to\u00a0be\u00a0a\u00a0great success. Budimex has also established cooperation with students of the Krak\u00f3w high school who won the\u00a0European Space Agency competition.<\/p>\n

Zwolnieni z\u00a0Teorii Foundation<\/strong><\/p>\n

Zwolnieni z\u00a0Teorii was established in\u00a02013 as\u00a0a\u00a0supplement to\u00a0school education with\u00a0practical skills. Young people, working on\u00a0their social project, develop competences such as: empathy, a\u00a0sense of agency, creativity, teamwork, communication and problem solving. In\u00a0addition, since 2019, a\u00a0teacher platform has been in\u00a0operation, thanks to\u00a0which teachers of Zwolnieni z\u00a0Teorii can support young people in\u00a0the project process.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
