At\u00a0the beginning of March, Budimex \u2013 the largest Polish general contractor \u2013 is inaugurating another, refreshed edition of the student internship programme for 2023 under the slogan \u201cPractice is the measure of success\u201d. The company has been\u00a0supporting the development of young people in\u00a0the\u00a0industry for several years, organizing m.in for\u00a0them. paid internships as\u00a0part of the\u00a0Budimex Academy project. <\/strong>This program lasts until the end of September. As\u00a0every\u00a0year, the general contractor has prepared 250 places for\u00a0students from\u00a0all over Polish. In\u00a0addition to\u00a0construction students, the Budimex Academy is also addressed to\u00a0people looking for internships m.in.\u00a0in\u00a0the area of HR, finance or\u00a0IT. You can apply for the program via the website: <\/strong>www.akademiabudimex.pl<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The next edition of the Internship Programme at\u00a0Budimex is launched. The general contractor offers students dreaming of\u00a0a\u00a0career in\u00a0the construction industry m.in.\u00a0remuneration for internships, medical care, support of a\u00a0dedicated Supervisor, gaining valuable experience with the leader of the\u00a0Polish construction market, as\u00a0well as\u00a0the possibility of permanent employment.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of our largest projects is the annual Internship Program, during which we\u00a0accept about 250 people for various areas of our organization\u2019s activities. Our goal is to\u00a0pass on\u00a0knowledge and familiarize these young people with business and real work on\u00a0a\u00a0construction site,\u201d says Anna Kary\u015b-Sosi\u0144ska, Member of the Management Board, Director of the Human Resources Management Division of Budimex SA.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On\u00a0the www.akademiabudimex.pl<\/a> website, which has been completely refreshed and gained a\u00a0new graphic design, in\u00a0addition to\u00a0the stories of the Interns, there are new elements such as\u00a0Q&A, a\u00a0clock counting down to\u00a0the start of the Internship, as\u00a0well as\u00a0a\u00a0section with descriptions of offices and\u00a0constructions, so that candidates can get to\u00a0know the company better. The recruitment game, the result of which is an element of the candidate\u2019s assessment, has also changed \u2013 the application process has been shortened by\u00a0limiting the game time. Currently, it consists of 12 questions and\u00a0is divided into two areas: construction and office.<\/p>\n

\u2013 In\u00a0total, since 2014. as\u00a0many as\u00a01419 Interns appeared in\u00a0our organization. It happens that we\u00a0are looking for 1-2 people for a\u00a0given department, but there are also large contracts, i.e. Warszawa Zachodnia station or\u00a0the Port of Gdynia, where the number of apprentices varies from 20 to\u00a030 people,\u201d adds Anna Kary\u015b-Sosi\u0144ska.<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n

Among the people who have completed internships at\u00a0Budimex is m.in.\u00a0Justyna \u2013 Works Manager in\u00a0Warszawa Zachodnia. A\u00a0few years ago, she met Budimex at\u00a0the university and\u00a0decided to\u00a0apply for the Internship Programme. Year by\u00a0year, she gained valuable experience on\u00a0Budimex railway contracts, thanks to\u00a0which today she is the Works Manager at\u00a0the reconstruction of the Warszawa Zachodnia Station. She specializes in\u00a0the area of environmental engineering, according to\u00a0the field she studied.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kasia also participated in\u00a0the Internship Program during her studies, and after many years she returned to\u00a0Budimex for good. Today, he\u00a0works in\u00a0the IT Office as\u00a0a\u00a0Business and System Analyst. It deals with the creation of systems, applications and\u00a0IT solutions aimed at\u00a0responding to\u00a0the current needs of employees.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0perfect example of the fact that you can develop at\u00a0Budimex not only in\u00a0the construction area is the story of Arek, who started his adventure in\u00a0the company with an internship in\u00a0the HR department, and today is a\u00a0Communication Specialist\u00a0. She is responsible for social media, internal communication, corporate videos and website functioning.
