At the beginning of March, Budimex \u2013 the largest Polish general contractor \u2013 is inaugurating another, refreshed edition of the student internship programme for 2023 under the slogan \u201cPractice is the measure of success\u201d. The company has been\u00a0supporting the development of young people in the\u00a0industry for several years, organizing m.in for\u00a0them. paid internships as part of the\u00a0Budimex Academy project. <\/strong>This program lasts until the end of September. As\u00a0every\u00a0year, the general contractor has prepared 250 places for\u00a0students from\u00a0all over Polish. In addition to construction students, the Budimex Academy is also addressed to\u00a0people looking for internships m.in. in the area of HR, finance or IT. You can apply for the program via the website: <\/strong>www.akademiabudimex.pl<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The next edition of the Internship Programme at Budimex is launched. The general contractor offers students dreaming of\u00a0a career in the construction industry m.in. remuneration for internships, medical care, support of a dedicated Supervisor, gaining valuable experience with the leader of the\u00a0Polish construction market, as well as the possibility of permanent employment.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of our largest projects is the annual Internship Program, during which we accept about 250 people for various areas of our organization\u2019s activities. Our goal is to pass on knowledge and familiarize these young people with business and real work on a construction site,\u201d says Anna Kary\u015b-Sosi\u0144ska, Member of the Management Board, Director of the Human Resources Management Division of Budimex SA.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the www.akademiabudimex.pl<\/a> website, which has been completely refreshed and gained a new graphic design, in addition to the stories of the Interns, there are new elements such as Q&A, a clock counting down to the start of the Internship, as well as a section with descriptions of offices and\u00a0constructions, so that candidates can get to know the company better. The recruitment game, the result of which is an element of the candidate\u2019s assessment, has also changed \u2013 the application process has been shortened by limiting the game time. Currently, it consists of 12 questions and\u00a0is divided into two areas: construction and office.<\/p>\n

\u2013 In total, since 2014. as many as 1419 Interns appeared in our organization. It happens that we are looking for 1-2 people for a given department, but there are also large contracts, i.e. Warszawa Zachodnia station or the Port of Gdynia, where the number of apprentices varies from 20 to 30 people,\u201d adds Anna Kary\u015b-Sosi\u0144ska.<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n

Among the people who have completed internships at Budimex is m.in. Justyna \u2013 Works Manager in Warszawa Zachodnia. A few years ago, she met Budimex at the university and\u00a0decided to apply for the Internship Programme. Year by year, she gained valuable experience on Budimex railway contracts, thanks to which today she is the Works Manager at the reconstruction of the Warszawa Zachodnia Station. She specializes in the area of environmental engineering, according to the field she studied.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kasia also participated in\u00a0the Internship Program during her studies, and after many years she returned to Budimex for good. Today, he works in the IT Office as a Business and System Analyst. It deals with the creation of systems, applications and\u00a0IT solutions aimed at responding to the current needs of employees.<\/p>\n

A perfect example of the fact that you can develop at Budimex not only in the construction area is the story of Arek, who started his adventure in the company with an internship in the HR department, and today is a Communication Specialist\u00a0. She is responsible for social media, internal communication, corporate videos and website functioning.
