This Friday, the first planting of 400 trees around the construction of the Tram to\u00a0Wilan\u00f3w for Warsaw Trams will begin, carried out by\u00a0Budimex together with housing communities in\u00a0both districts. The first plantings will take place in:<\/p>\n

The campaign is addressed to\u00a0housing communities and cooperatives located in\u00a0the Mokot\u00f3w and Wilan\u00f3w districts (in\u00a0the vicinity of the construction of the Tram to\u00a0Wilan\u00f3w). The trees, purchased by\u00a0Budimex, are planted by\u00a0residents.<\/p>\n

The campaign is divided into at\u00a0least three editions. The first is being implemented in\u00a0the spring of 2023, the next in\u00a0early autumn this year and the last one in\u00a0the spring of 2024. In\u00a0the first place, Budimex will select those communities\/cooperatives that are closest to\u00a0the construction route of the Tram to\u00a0Wilan\u00f3w for the campaign. Together with the residents, we\u00a0will plant Japanese cherries, small-leaved limes and maples. These are trees with fast growth, growing well in\u00a0cities. Communities will be\u00a0able to\u00a0choose the species of trees, while consulting with Budimex in\u00a0dendrological consultation.<\/p>\n

Housing communities and cooperatives must have land on\u00a0which trees can be\u00a0planted and located in\u00a0the vicinity of the construction of the Tram to\u00a0Wilan\u00f3w. They must also have resources that allow them to\u00a0take care of the planted trees indefinitely.<\/p>\n

Budimex \u2013 the largest Polish general construction contractor has been implementing the largest tram investment in\u00a0the capital since September 2022 for the investor Tramwaje Warszawa. The construction of the tram route to\u00a0Wilan\u00f3w is an investment aimed at\u00a0improving the quality of life of many Warsaw residents. The route will connect Wola, Ochota and the Western Railway Station with Wilan\u00f3w and Mokot\u00f3w. Thanks to\u00a0this, the residents of Wilan\u00f3w will be\u00a0able to\u00a0get to\u00a0the city centre in\u00a0less than 30 minutes during rush hours.<\/p>\n
