Budimex has completed the construction and commissioned a section of provincial road No. 714 \u2013 an extension of the Upper Route, connecting \u0141\u00f3d\u017a with the A1 motorway in the Br\u00f3jce commune. The value of the extension of 2.3 km of the former county road is over PLN 30 million. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The contract for the construction of provincial road No. 714 in the wake of the former county road No.\u00a01164E was signed by Budimex in December 2021. The investor of this part of the task was the Marshal\u2019s Office of the \u0141\u00f3d\u017a Voivodeship. The section was completed according to schedule. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2013 The completion of this task is great news for the inhabitants of the region, as well as for the residents of \u0141\u00f3d\u017a. This section is of particular importance, because it connects the capital of the voivodeship and the A1 motorway. Its implementation will make life much easier for drivers<\/em> \u2013 says Grzegorz Schreiber, Marshal of the \u0141\u00f3d\u017a Voivodeship.<\/p>\n

As part of the project, the roadway was widened to 7 meters and 5\u00a0intersections were expanded. In addition, over 2 km of bicycle path with pedestrian traffic allowed, 1 km of independent sidewalks and pavements led directly next to the road, 2 passages for amphibians under the crown of the road, as well as a new bridge over the Ner River were built. In addition, 6 bus bays, 2.1 km of rainwater drainage, 1.3\u00a0km of road ditches, 91 lighting poles and 10 pedestrian crossings with\u00a0facilities for people with disabilities were built.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Thanks to this investment, the commissioned section of the provincial road No. 714 is ready for increased vehicle traffic, which will take place after the completion of the Upper Route in its entirety, as traffic from \u0141\u00f3d\u017a towards the A1 motorway will be directed through it. As\u00a0part of the contract, we also built new infrastructure for pedestrians and\u00a0cyclists and improved visibility on this section. In addition, the new bridge over the Ner River will significantly affect safety in the area <\/em>\u2013 says Dariusz Demianiuk, Regional Director of the Infrastructure Construction Division at Budimex.<\/p>\n

Budimex has extensive experience in the construction of infrastructure investments. The general contractor is carrying out m.in. 5 bypasses from the government\u2019s Program for the construction of 100 bypasses for 2020-2030. The first of them, the Wa\u0142brzych bypass, was completed last year. In 2022, m.in were also put into service. a section of the S5 Ornowo \u2013 Wirwajdy expressway and the S6 expressway on the section Luzino (without the junction) \u2013 Szemud (with the junction), i.e. part of the Kashubian Route.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n
