Representatives of Budimex, together with Magdalena Rzeczkowska \u2013 Minister of Finance and Hubert Gniadowicz \u2013 Director of the Finance IT Centre \u2013 started the construction of the IT Centre of the Ministry of Finance in\u00a0Radom. The symbolic ground-breaking ceremony was performed by\u00a0Jakub Nagraba, Budimex\u2019s Director of General Construction. The Polish general contractor is implementing the investment in\u00a0the design and build system. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2013 We\u00a0obtained a\u00a0building permit for the investor in\u00a0May this year. We\u00a0are currently completing the implementation of detailed designs<\/em> \u2013 says Jakub Nagraba. This is another strategic IT facility that we\u00a0are implementing for our country. We\u00a0have a\u00a0team dedicated to\u00a0these demanding facilities and extensive experience in\u00a0their implementation <\/em>\u2013 adds Jakub Nagraba.<\/p>\n

The CIRF server room is of the so-called \u201cSzczecin\u201d character. critical infrastructure due to\u00a0the special importance of the data managed in\u00a0the facility; it has been designed to\u00a0ensure the security of stored data and high efficiency and continuity of system operation; IT data is administered in\u00a0the server room: obtained in\u00a0the process of settling annual PIT returns (e-PIT system); this is where data on\u00a0motorway users is transferred through the e-Toll system; The server room monitors and secures digital data 24 hours a\u00a0day, 7 days a\u00a0week.<\/p>\n

\u201cCIRF is our digital brain<\/em> ,\u201d said Minister Magdalena Rzeczkowska during the opening ceremony. This is the moment of the symbolic start of work on\u00a0the new data center of the IT Center of the Ministry of Finance. This investment contributes to\u00a0the economic development of the country. Our IT systems are used by\u00a0millions of taxpayers. <\/em>Modern technology in\u00a0the tax administration allows to\u00a0increase revenues to\u00a0the state budget, <\/em>said the Minister of Finance.<\/p>\n

Thanks to\u00a0the expansion, the Center will gain server space, necessary to\u00a0support the rapidly growing number of digital services of the Ministry of Finance. The CIRF server room will be\u00a0expanded by\u00a0an additional 1.2 thousand. m2 of server chambers. The replacement service will also be\u00a0strengthened thanks to\u00a0investment in\u00a0systems ensuring the continuity of the ministry\u2019s operations after a\u00a0possible disaster (the so-called Disaster Recovery).<\/p>\n

\u2013 We\u00a0provide 800 IT services for the Ministry of Finance, CIRF is the largest public Fintech in\u00a0Poland.\u00a0 After the expansion, it will be\u00a0one of the largest data centers in\u00a0Poland.\u00a0\u00a0We\u00a0are building this center to\u00a0increase the scale of digital services of the Ministry of Finance, including the new e-invoice system. The new place will increase the safety and availability of the ministry\u2019s services. There will be\u00a0new ecological solutions here, such as\u00a0a\u00a0heat recovery system by\u00a0servers, rainwater recovery and our own photovoltaic farm,\u201d<\/em> added Hubert Gniadowicz \u2013 Director of CIRF.<\/p>\n

The total usable area of the facility is approx. 5,510.00\u00a0m2, while the cubic capacity: 37,107.00\u00a0m3. The new development will be\u00a0designed and\u00a0implemented as\u00a0the construction of a\u00a0new CIRF building, located to\u00a0the south-east of the existing facility.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0parking lot for approx. 36 parking spaces along with\u00a0the construction of a\u00a0charging station for hybrid cars, electric cars, bicycles and\u00a0electric mopeds. A\u00a0ground-mounted installation of photovoltaic modules with a\u00a0minimum power of\u00a0150.00 kW will also be\u00a0made.<\/p>\n

The investment is being carried out by\u00a0Region 3 of Adam Skobodzi\u0144ski\u2019s DBO in\u00a0the Andrzej Sowa Branch. The Contract Director is Maciej Maciejewski.<\/p>\n

The construction of the facility will be\u00a0completed in\u00a02025.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
