Budimex Mobility has handed over 9 new stations for electric vehicles to\u00a0the residents of Szczecin. This is another location, after Bydgoszcz, where the Budimex Group company is developing its network of charging points. New charging stations have been launched in\u00a0the areas of the following streets: Floriana Szarego (2 points), Cukrowa\/Ronda Uniwersyteckiego, Wiosny Lud\u00f3w, Dworska, Ku\u00a0S\u0142o\u0144ce (2 points), Niedzia\u0142kowskiego, Kazimierza Kr\u00f3lewicza and Kad\u0142ubka.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The investment in\u00a0Szczecin is part of the Budimex Mobility project, which includes the commissioning of a\u00a0total of 112 stations in\u00a0four cities in\u00a0Poland. The company became the owner of the electric vehicle charging infrastructure in\u00a0February this year, as\u00a0a\u00a0result of its purchase from Enea Operator. After the necessary technical inspection, configuration, formal process and connection, devices with the Budimex Mobility logo are successively made available to\u00a0residents. In\u00a0June, 27 two-point stations were put into operation in\u00a0Bydgoszcz, and more are being prepared in\u00a0Gorz\u00f3w Wielkopolski and Pozna\u0144. The first stage has been completed in\u00a0Szczecin \u2013 9 new chargers have been launched, and ultimately 36 charging stations are to\u00a0be\u00a0available in\u00a0the city.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe construction of further infrastructure elements is necessary for the development of the electromobility sector in\u00a0Poland. Greater availability of charging stations means easier and more comfortable movement for \u201celectric\u201d drivers. The awareness of the benefits of choosing less emission-intensive means of transport seems to\u00a0be\u00a0growing. However, specific investments are needed, in\u00a0which, as\u00a0Budimex Mobility, we\u00a0want to\u00a0have our share,\u201d said Jakub D\u0142ugoszek, Member of the Management Board of Budimex Mobility. \u201cThe presence of new charging points also affects the development of cities. Today, the network of stations for electric vehicles is an indispensable element of modern and environmentally sensitive urban centres. We\u00a0are glad that we\u00a0can support our local partners in\u00a0building their image in\u00a0this area, while improving the quality of life of residents,\u201d added Jakub D\u0142ugoszek.<\/p>\n

The Budimex Mobility stations launched in\u00a0Szczecin are devices manufactured by\u00a0Emiter with a\u00a0capacity of 22kW. The points are adapted to\u00a0handle 1 vehicle at\u00a0the same time. The charging process is supported by\u00a0the system of Elocity, with which the Budimex Group company has established a\u00a0long-term cooperation. Users can register on\u00a0the mobile app and pay the service fee there. The points are also adapted for use by\u00a0people using RFID accounts and cards.<\/p>\n

The commissioning of another 27 devices in\u00a0Szczecin is planned for the third quarter of this year. Currently, the process of necessary modernization of the station is underway.<\/p>\n
