Budimex has completed the construction of the over 4-kilometre Przec\u0142aw and Warzymice bypass. Commissioned 7 months ahead of schedule, the investment is of great importance for local traffic \u2013 a\u00a0new, two-lane expressway will relieve the daily traffic jams that form in\u00a0this area. The section that has just been commissioned will not only improve local traffic, but will also significantly reduce the travel time from Szczecin to\u00a0the Tri-City. The cost of the investment is PLN 89.5 million.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 4.2 km long section of the road constructed by\u00a0Budimex starts from the Hakena roundabout in\u00a0Szczecin and, bypassing Warzymice and Przec\u0142aw, from the west, connects with DK 13 at\u00a0a\u00a0temporary roundabout near Sm\u0119towice. The road has two lanes with a\u00a0width of 3.5 m each and is divided by\u00a0a\u00a05 m wide lane.<\/p>\n

As\u00a0part of the investment, the general contractor, apart from the roadway, constructed several engineering structures (including viaducts, passages for small animals and culverts) and a\u00a0new rainwater drainage system, along with three retention reservoirs. Drainage ditches, telecommunications, electricity and gas networks were also rebuilt. The \u201cPrzec\u0142aw\u201d junction was built\u00a0 .<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are extremely pleased with the exceptionally quick completion of this investment, especially since we\u00a0had many sapper interventions in\u00a0connection with the discovery of ammunition and shells from World War II. The greatest satisfaction, however, is that this section, important for the residents of Szczecin, but also for the entire voivodeship, will improve road traffic \u2013<\/em> says Artur Popko, President of the Management Board of Budimex SA.<\/p>\n

Budimex has been one of the largest general contractors of roads and motorways in\u00a0Poland for years. Only recently, the company has commissioned a\u00a0nearly 2-kilometer bypass of Smolajny. This one, the first of 100 bypasses planned by\u00a0GDDKiA for 2020-2030, was also commissioned ahead of schedule.<\/p>\n

Another recently commissioned bypass important for local traffic is running in\u00a0a\u00a0mountainous area, at\u00a0an altitude of approx. 500 m above sea level, a\u00a0road that allows you to\u00a0bypass the second largest city in\u00a0the province. Lower Silesia. Due to\u00a0the terrain through which it runs \u2013 the picturesque Wa\u0142brzyskie Mountains \u2013 the media quickly hailed it as\u00a0one of the most beautiful bypasses in\u00a0Poland.<\/p>\n

Recently, Budimex has completed several important investments in\u00a0the province of Szczecin. West Pomerania. One of them is the construction of the building of the Polish Theatre, sunk in\u00a0the Oder escarpment. These are not all the investments carried out by\u00a0Budimex in\u00a0the province of West Pomerania. At\u00a0the end of this year, the bridge over the Reglica River \u2013 one of the largest infrastructure investments in\u00a0this region \u2013 will be\u00a0put into operation.
