At\u00a0the TRAKO International Railway Fair in\u00a0Gda\u0144sk, the Budimex Group will present the latest vehicles for the rapid modernisation of railway lines. There will also be\u00a0a\u00a0guest area on\u00a0the exhibition tracks. The Polish general contractor will also be\u00a0a\u00a0partner of the TRAKO gala. It will be\u00a0the first time that Budimex will be\u00a0present in\u00a0such a\u00a0scope at\u00a0the largest railway fair in\u00a0Central Europe. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Tamping machine <\/strong><\/p>\n

It will be\u00a0the Unimat 09-4\u00d78\/4s Dynamic \u2013 the latest universal tamping machine, which was officially handed over to\u00a0Budimex during the TRAKO 2021 International Fair in\u00a0Gda\u0144sk. It is a\u00a0double-deck, 10-axle machine with a\u00a0capacity much higher than the older examples \u2013 approx. 1.2 km of tamped track per hour, with a\u00a0smooth transition from track to\u00a0turnout. Simultaneous track stabilization (DGS function) makes it possible to\u00a0dispense with the need to\u00a0bring in\u00a0an additional machine, as\u00a0well as\u00a0to\u00a0restore traffic after the track has been tamped at\u00a0scheduled speed without introducing local time speed restrictions.<\/p>\n

Roll forming machine<\/strong><\/p>\n

Another device that the Polish general contractor will show is the USP 2010 SWS ballast moulding machine. Roll forming machines are self-propelled machines that move ballast ballast. They regulate its amount in\u00a0places where there is an excess of it, moving it to\u00a0places where there is a\u00a0lack of crushed stone. They use work units (work ploughs, collecting devices with rotating brush, conveyor belts, ballast hoppers and ballast chutes) to\u00a0shape and profile the subgrade pile.<\/p>\n

Budimex has three tamping machines from Plasser & Theurer: CSM 09-32 Duomatic from 2018 and two Unimats: 09-4\u00d74\/4s Dynamic manufactured in\u00a02018 and 2019. In\u00a0addition, the company has two track profilers and one track stabilizer. The company also has one locomotive and several dozen dump wagons for transporting crushed stone and platform wagons, as\u00a0well as\u00a0smaller equipment, including modern geodetic trolleys. Budimex Kolejnictwo also has a\u00a0maintenance train, two-way vehicles and platforms for pulling out the net.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cBudimex already has over 80 units of rolling stock and track machinery. This is a\u00a0scale that allows us to\u00a0independently handle contracts carried out in\u00a0Poland and abroad. Budimex tries to\u00a0carry out all works using its own equipment. In\u00a0the future, if we\u00a0manage to\u00a0win railway contracts abroad, the purchased equipment will also be\u00a0used outside Poland\u201d<\/em> \u00a0\u2013 says Maciej Olek \u2013 participant of this year\u2019s TRAKO fair and Member of the Management Board \u2013 Director of Railway and Energy Construction at\u00a0Budimex.<\/p>\n

People<\/strong><\/p>\n

Budimex will be\u00a0represented at\u00a0the TRAKO fair by\u00a0m.in.\u00a0Director of the Railway Construction Division Dariusz Baca, representative of Rail BX \u2013 Robert Nowacki and Director of the Czech Branch Rafa\u0142 Zachuta. Budimex is currently among the top two largest general contractors for construction works on\u00a0the railway network in\u00a0Poland. The largest contract executed by\u00a0Budimex is the Warszawa Zachodnia station, with a\u00a0net value of PLN 1.9 billion. In\u00a0September, Budimex was selected as\u00a0one of the companies forming the Polish-Italian-French consortium that will build 230 km of the new Rail Baltica line in\u00a0Latvia.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
