\n Budimex has started work on the project to extend the D1 Bratislava \u2013 Triblavina road in Slovakia. The subject of the project is the construction of a strategic intersection of two motorways, which will significantly contribute to the improvement of the transport situation in the capital of the country \u2013 Bratislava.<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

The section implemented by Budimex is 3.6 km long and will include the widening and reconstruction of the motorway surface, the construction of 18 bridges, as well as the addition of an information system and noise barriers. In total, the general contractor will construct 128 construction facilities. A challenging aspect of the project will be the maintenance of construction work on the D1 motorway on the outskirts of Bratislava.<\/p>\n

The construction consists of two key milestones. The first is the construction of bypasses, which will redirect traffic from the D1 motorway and connect the two branches of the intersection for the possibility of building the necessary bridges at the D1\/D4 intersection. The second milestone is the connection of the highways in the direction of Trnava \u2013 Jarovce. The total construction time is estimated at 1100 days.<\/p>\n

\u2013 On the branches of the intersection of the D1 and D4 motorways, embankments and reinforcements under the retaining walls are being carried out, as well as removal of humus or removal of demolition material, as well as rearmament of engineering networks. The reconstruction of the hydromelioration system is also underway. The demolition works have already been partially completed at the construction site, and the archaeological research is nearing completion,\u201d says Igor Sedl\u00e1\u010dek, Contract Director of Budimex SA.<\/p>\n

Currently, experts are investigating several theories related to archaeological excavations \u2013 the discoveries so far indicate that a prehistoric Celtic settlement existed in these places.<\/p>\n

In the summer of 2022. Budimex won the tender for the construction of the D1 Bratislava-Triblavina motorway worth EUR 110.85 million, and at the end of the year it signed a contract with the Slovak contracting authority. This is the first contract the company has won since entering the Slovak market in 2021.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n
