PLN 282 million net.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Budimex has successfully completed test loads on\u00a0the viaduct and railway bridge over the Regalica River. The value of the investment carried out for\u00a0the State Water Holding Polish Waters Regional Water Management Authority in\u00a0Szczecin and PKP PLK SA is approx. PLN 282 million net. In\u00a0November, it is planned to\u00a0submit an application for an occupancy permit. The aim of the investment is to\u00a0increase the freedom of inland navigation while ensuring the continuity of rail traffic on\u00a0line No. 273.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The contract for the implementation of the\u00a0project in\u00a0the \u201cbuild\u201d formula was concluded in\u00a0September 2021\u00a0between Budimex SA and Polish Waters. The project is financed by\u00a0the\u00a0World Bank, the European Union and the state budget.<\/p>\n<p>\u200e-  <em>We\u00a0are approaching the end of our investment. The new bridge connecting the two banks of the Regalica River is over 2800 tons of steel and 10,000 elements. The old bridge has been demolished and is no\u00a0longer an obstacle to\u00a0navigation. 2 new tracks were built for speeds of over 100 km\/h. The facility with a\u00a0total length of 276 m and a\u00a0height above the high navigable water level of 6.2 m will enable the free passage of vessels, including icebreakers located in\u00a0the nearby base. The scope of the investment also includes the reconstruction of 12 km of tracks and the construction of a\u00a0new platform. Over 2000 people were involved in\u00a0the construction site carried out jointly by\u00a0the infrastructure construction, railway construction Budimex SA and Mostostal Krak\u00f3w<\/em>  \u2013 says S\u0142awomir Krekora, Contract Director of Budimex SA.<\/p>\n<p>During the load tests, four locomotives with a\u00a0total weight of 480 tons were used for static loads and a\u00a0locomotive with a\u00a0weight of 120 tons for the dynamic test. The speed of the vehicles in\u00a0the trials was gradually increased from 10 km\/h to\u00a0over 100 km\/h, reaching the maximum operating speed. The analysis of the bridge structure during the load tests included:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Determination of the stiffness of the structure based on\u00a0measurements of deflections of the load-bearing structure subjected to\u00a0static loading.<\/li>\n<li>Assessment of the stability of the structures supported by\u00a0the basis of levelling measurements of their\u00a0settlement.<\/li>\n<li>Visual inspection of the structure before, during and after the test load and\u00a0noting irregularities (scratches, cracks, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Determination of dynamic parameters such as\u00a0the dynamic override factor of natural frequency and\u00a0damping coefficient.<\/li>\n<li>All calculations have been confirmed by\u00a0compliance with the trial load design.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Currently, the ongoing works related to\u00a0the laying of the track surface and the construction of the overhead contact line are nearing completion. In\u00a0addition, key stages of works related to\u00a0the\u00a0construction of retaining walls of the railway embankment and a\u00a0road viaduct have been completed, which will enable collision-free passage of ul.\u00a0Szklana Street under the railway line 273 Szczecin \u2013 Wroc\u0142aw.
