Budimex has signed a\u00a0contract for the construction of the fourth stage of the Drezdenko Bypass. The gross value of the contract amounts to\u00a0PLN 108.5 million. In\u00a0total, the route of the new section will be\u00a03.56 km.In addition to\u00a0the road, the works also include the construction of a\u00a0345-meter bridge over the Note\u0107 River valley and the Stara Note\u0107 River, as\u00a0well as\u00a0a\u00a0viaduct over the railway line. The investment has been designed to\u00a0relieve the residents of Drezdenko from intensive heavy traffic as\u00a0much as\u00a0possible, taking into account all social and environmental standards. The works will begin at\u00a0the turn of the first and second quarter of 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to\u00a0the contract, the contractor has 34 months to\u00a0complete the investment. As\u00a0part of the task, 4 farm crossings and 5 animal crossings will be\u00a0built, as\u00a0well as\u00a0a\u00a0special fence to\u00a0prevent animals from entering the bypass.<\/p>\n

\u200e\u2013 The completion of the fourth stage is important for the local community, as\u00a0it will allow a\u00a0significant part of the traffic, in\u00a0particular trucks, to\u00a0be\u00a0moved out of the very center of Drezdenko, which will certainly translate into greater comfort and safety of moving around the city. During the implementation of the contract, we\u00a0intend to\u00a0cooperate with local entrepreneurs as\u00a0much as\u00a0possible and rely primarily on\u00a0local materials and products <\/em>\u2013 says S\u0142awomir Krekora, Contract Manager at\u00a0Budimex SA.<\/p>\n

The fourth stage of the construction of the Drezdenko Bypass is a\u00a0continuation of the activities undertaken in\u00a0previous years. The investment, according to\u00a0the project, is inaugurated by\u00a0the construction of a\u00a0roundabout at\u00a0the intersection of provincial roads No. 156 and 160, and then the route runs along a\u00a0single-span viaduct over the railway line and a\u00a0345-meter flyover over the valley of the Note\u0107 and Stara Note\u0107 rivers, ending the section at\u00a0the roundabout built at\u00a0an earlier stage. The entire road will be\u00a0equipped with curbs with lighting at\u00a0all intersections and bridges, along with access roads to\u00a0them.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0total, 700,000 Mg\u00a0of sand, 16,500 Mg\u00a0of mineral-aslphat mixtures and 30,000 Mg\u00a0of all concrete and stabilization are planned to\u00a0be\u00a0used during construction.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Budimex is an experienced contractor of bypasses, actively involved in\u00a0the implementation of the 100 bypasses construction programme. He\u00a0is directly responsible for the construction of the Suwa\u0142ki, Ole\u015bnica, Sztabin bypass, as\u00a0well as\u00a0the construction of the Tri-City Metropolitan Bypass, known as\u00a0the \u201cqueen of Polish bypasses\u201d.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
