Budimex announces the launch of the next edition of the \u201cHouse from the Heart\u201d campaign, which aims to\u00a0support families in\u00a0Poland struggling with material and housing difficulties.\u00a0 As\u00a0part of the third edition, a\u00a0completely new house will be\u00a0built. It will be\u00a0inhabited by\u00a0Mrs. Teresa, from Wo\u0142omin near Warsaw, who lost her roof over her head as\u00a0a\u00a0result of a\u00a0fire. <\/strong><\/p>\n

From the need of the heart \u2013 Home from the heart<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first edition of the \u201cHome from the Heart\u201d project was a\u00a0tribute to\u00a0the power of love and social support. Thanks to\u00a0her, Magda and her fifteen children from the Radomsko district received a\u00a0new home in\u00a02021, which was a\u00a0hope and a\u00a0safe place for them. Their story moved Budimex and gave birth to\u00a0this unique initiative. As\u00a0part of the second edition, Budimex joined forces with other construction companies to\u00a0help a\u00a0family of eight in\u00a0the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship with financial difficulties and children\u2019s health problems. Together, they completed the construction of a\u00a0house to\u00a0create conditions for them to\u00a0live \u201cturnkey\u201d.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0new house for Mrs. Teresa and Lusia will be\u00a0built in\u00a0Wo\u0142omin<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now the third edition of the \u201cHouse from the Heart\u201d program begins. Mrs. Teresa, who lived in\u00a0her home in\u00a0Wo\u0142omin for over 50 years, needs help. Unfortunately, as\u00a0a\u00a0result of the fire, she lost her home and precious memories. This tragedy is only one of many that happened to\u00a0Mrs. Teresa, including the loss of her husband and son due to\u00a0cancer. Despite so many difficulties, Mrs. Teresa remains extremely resourceful
and an active person. Now, thanks to\u00a0the power of cooperation with other construction companies, Budimex is ready to\u00a0help her make her dream of returning to\u00a0her new and safe home come true. The work is already underway. Currently, the area has been leveled and prepared so that in\u00a0the place of the destroyed house of Mrs. Teresa, a\u00a0modern modular house will be\u00a0erected, in\u00a0which Mrs. Teresa and her canine friend Lusia will be\u00a0able to\u00a0live.<\/p>\n

\u201cBudimex has been operating on\u00a0the basis of social responsibility for years, implementing a\u00a0number of activities for the benefit of local communities. Always after each construction that we\u00a0carry out, we\u00a0leave behind something durable and good for the communities that live in\u00a0its vicinity. The story of Mrs.\u00a0 Teresa moved us very much, so we\u00a0decided to\u00a0help her dreams of a\u00a0new and safe home come true \u2013<\/em> says Artur Popko, President of the Management Board at\u00a0Budimex SA.<\/p>\n

The region in\u00a0which Teresa lives is adjacent to\u00a0the construction projects carried out by\u00a0Budimex: the Marki Education and Recreation Centre and the Drewnica Psychiatric Hospital. \u201cWe are always socially involved in\u00a0the areas of our construction sites\u00a0 <\/em>\u2013 adds Artur Popko.<\/p>\n

Teresa will move into her new home in\u00a0the spring of 2024.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
