PLN 1.07 billion. The entire section has been divided into three tasks, which are planned to\u00a0be\u00a0made available to\u00a0traffic in\u00a0the second half of 2027. The current national road No. 8 will be\u00a0replaced by\u00a0an expressway with two lanes in\u00a0each direction and emergency lanes.<\/p>\n<div class=\"editor-content\">\n<h3>Contracts<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>The first section of the S8 between the Kobierzyce P\u00f3\u0142noc and Kobierzyce Po\u0142udnie junctions will be\u00a0built by\u00a0Strabag Infrastruktura Po\u0142udnie for the amount of PLN 309,777,961.23. The second section between the Kobierzyce Po\u0142udnie and Jordan\u00f3w \u015al\u0105ski junctions was built by\u00a0PORR for PLN 401,110,124.16, and the third section Jordan\u00f3w \u015al\u0105ski \u2013 \u0141agiewniki Zach\u00f3d was built by\u00a0Budimex for PLN 355,614,315.9\u00a0.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"editor-content\">\n<h3>Four out of six sections of the S8<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>Construction of the expressway between Wroc\u0142aw and K\u0142odzko, included in\u00a0the Government Programme for the Construction of National Roads until 2030. (with an outlook to\u00a02033), was divided into six shorter sections. Construction contracts have been signed for the first three sections, and the section from Z\u0105bkowice \u015al\u0105skie to\u00a0Bardo is in\u00a0the tender procedure. Later this year, the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways \u2013 Wroc\u0142aw Branch is planning to\u00a0announce a\u00a0tender for the section between \u0141agiewniki and Z\u0105bkowice \u015al\u0105skie. In\u00a0the case of the last section of Bardo \u2013 K\u0142odzko, GDDKiA is in\u00a0the process of preparatory works, the effect of which depends on\u00a0the result of the analysis of its connection with the planned Z\u0142oty Stok bypass. After the analyses are completed, the preferred variant for which an application for a\u00a0decision on\u00a0environmental conditions will be\u00a0submitted.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The completion of the entire investment (Wroc\u0142aw \u2013 K\u0142odzko) and the commissioning of the route for traffic is planned for 2028-2033. The government Programme also provides for the implementation of the further route of the S8, from K\u0142odzko to\u00a0Bobosz\u00f3w and the border with the Czech Republic.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"editor-content\">\n<h3>This is how the S8 Wroc\u0142aw \u2013 K\u0142odzko will run<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>Ultimately, the S8 expressway will be\u00a0built on\u00a0an 87-kilometre section of the road from Wroc\u0142aw to\u00a0K\u0142odzko. It will be\u00a0an extension of the section of the AOW\/S8 road ending at\u00a0the height of Magnice near Kobierzyce. The route will have two carriageways, with two lanes in\u00a0both directions and emergency lanes. In\u00a0the future, the section between the Kobierzyce and \u0141agiewniki Zach\u00f3d junctions can be\u00a0extended by\u00a0a\u00a0third lane, using the reserve in\u00a0the separation strip for this purpose.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wroc\u0142aw (Magnice)\u00a0\u2013\u00a0\u0141agiewniki  \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The almost 33-kilometre section\u00a0has been divided into three implementation sections:<\/p>\n<p><u>Task 1 ep. from the Kobierzyce P\u00f3\u0142noc\u00a0junction to\u00a0the Kobierzyce Po\u0142udnie junction\u00a0with a\u00a0length of approx. 7.5 km.\u00a0<\/u>The route will run along a\u00a0new route on\u00a0the western side of the existing DK8 and will run through\u00a0the area of the Kobierzyce commune.\u00a0The construction of two\u00a0road junctions is planned: Kobierzyce P\u00f3\u0142noc \u2013\u00a0 connection with DK8 and the A8 Wroc\u0142aw Motorway Bypass, and Kobierzyce Po\u0142udnie\u00a0 \u2013\u00a0 connection with the provincial road No. 346.\u00a0\u00a0Between the junctions, on\u00a0both sides of the route,\u00a0 Motorway Service Areas\u00a0Kr\u00f3likowice are planned. In\u00a0addition, the following will be\u00a0built on\u00a0the section: a\u00a0flyover that also serves as\u00a0a\u00a0passage for animals, two bridges that also serve as\u00a0a\u00a0passage for animals, four viaducts over the expressway, a\u00a0viaduct along the expressway that also serves as\u00a0animal crossings, four culverts, including three that also serve as\u00a0animal crossings.  \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><u>Task 2 ep. from the Kobierzyce Po\u0142udnie\u00a0junction to\u00a0the Jordan\u00f3w \u015al\u0105ski junction, with a\u00a0length of approx. 13.8 km.<\/u>\u00a0The route will run along a\u00a0new route on\u00a0the western side of the existing DK8 and will run through\u00a0the areas of the communes: Kobierzyce, K\u0105ty Wroc\u0142awskie, Sob\u00f3tka and Jordan\u00f3w \u015al\u0105ski. The construction of the Jordan\u00f3w\u00a0\u015al\u0105ski\u00a0 road junction is planned \u2013\u00a0 connection with the current DK8 and district\u00a0roads\u00a0DP2075D and DP1989D. In\u00a0addition, the following will be\u00a0built on\u00a0the section: five bridges that also serve as\u00a0animal crossings, seven viaducts over the expressway, three viaducts along the expressway (including one that also serves as\u00a0animal crossings) and three culverts that also serve as\u00a0animal crossings.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><u>Task 3 from the Jordan\u00f3w \u015al\u0105ski\u00a0junction to\u00a0the \u0141agiewniki Zach\u00f3d junction\u00a0, with a\u00a0length of approx. 11.2 km.\u00a0<\/u>The route will run along a\u00a0new route on\u00a0the western side of the existing DK8 and will run through\u00a0the areas of the municipalities\u00a0of Jordan\u00f3w \u015al\u0105ski and \u0141agiewniki. The construction of two road junctions is planned:\u00a0 \u0141agiewniki P\u00f3\u0142noc\u00a0 \u2013\u00a0 connection with national roads No. 8 and 39 and \u0141agiewniki\u00a0Zach\u00f3d \u2013 connection with provincial road No. 384. In\u00a0addition, the following will be\u00a0built on\u00a0the section: two bridges that will also serve as\u00a0a\u00a0passage for animals, four viaducts over the expressway, three viaducts along the expressway and six culverts that will also serve as\u00a0passages for animals.  \u00a0<br \/>\u00a0<br \/><strong>\u0141agiewniki \u2013 Bardo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u>Task 4 ep. from the \u0141agiewniki Zach\u00f3d\u00a0junction to\u00a0the Niemcza junction\u00a0with a\u00a0length of approx. 9.3 km.\u00a0<\/u>The route will follow a\u00a0new route and will run through the areas of the municipalities of \u0141agiewniki and Niemcza. The S8 expressway will run on\u00a0the western side of DK8 and will only make little use of its route (usually in\u00a0places where it will cross it).\u00a0As\u00a0part of the task, 25 engineering structures will be\u00a0built (6 structures over the main route, 8 structures along the main route, 11 culverts)  \u00a0<\/p>\n<p><u>Task 5 ep. from the Niemcza junction to\u00a0the Z\u0105bkowice \u015al\u0105skie P\u00f3\u0142noc junction with a\u00a0length of approx. 7.9 km.\u00a0<\/u>The route will run through the areas of the Niemcza and Z\u0105bkowice \u015al\u0105skie communes and will run on\u00a0the western side of DK8, and will make little use of its course (usually in\u00a0places where it will cross it). The construction of two road junctions is planned: Niemcza at\u00a0the intersection with the current DK8 and Z\u0105bkowice \u015al\u0105skie P\u00f3\u0142noc at\u00a0the junction with the current DK8 and the county road No. 3165D.\u00a0  As\u00a0part of the task, 19 engineering structures will be\u00a0built (4 structures over the main route, 6 structures along the main route, 9 culverts).<\/p>\n<p><u>Task 6 ep. from the Z\u0105bkowice \u015al\u0105skie P\u00f3\u0142noc\u00a0junction to\u00a0the Bardo junction\u00a0, with a\u00a0length of\u00a0approx.\u00a014\u00a0km.\u00a0<\/u>The route will follow a\u00a0new route and will run through the areas of the municipalities of Z\u0105bkowice \u015al\u0105skie and Bardo. The S8 will use the course of national road No. 8 to\u00a0a\u00a0minimal extent, mostly at\u00a0the intersections with it. As\u00a0part of the task, the construction of two road junctions is planned: Z\u0105bkowice \u015al\u0105skie Wsch\u00f3d at\u00a0the connection with the provincial road No. 385 and Bardo at\u00a0the connection with the current DK8. In\u00a0addition, nine bridges will be\u00a0built (including seven that also serve as\u00a0animal crossings), eight viaducts over the expressway, two viaducts along the expressway that also serve as\u00a0animal crossings, and 16 culverts, including 14 that also serve as\u00a0animal crossings.
