Budimex is implementing one of the largest road infrastructure projects in\u00a0the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. The company has commenced works related to\u00a0the laying of the first layers of asphalt pavement on\u00a0the six-kilometre Wa\u0142brzych bypass.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The current construction works concern a\u00a0test section with a\u00a0length of several hundred meters in\u00a0the northern part of the Wa\u0142brzych bypass. This is an important step in\u00a0the perspective of the entire project, implemented along national road No. 35. Its contractor, Budimex, started work in\u00a0April last year. commissioned by\u00a0the City of Wa\u0142brzych and the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways.<\/p>\n

Fast and efficient operation<\/strong>
The investment is already nearly 45% advanced. More than 250 people and more than 100 pieces of equipment work on\u00a0the construction site every day. The company carries out works on\u00a0engineering structures. The most advanced are those at\u00a0the \u017beromskiego junction. The surface works will last until the end of this year. Laying the surface \u2013 binding and wearing course \u2013 is an important stage showing the progress of the work.<\/p>\n

\u2013 We\u00a0are implementing the construction of the Wa\u0142brzych bypass at\u00a0the maximum possible pace. Taking advantage of the poor winter, we\u00a0have accelerated the implementation of engineering structures,\u201d says Artur Popko, Vice-President of the Management Board of Budimex SA. A\u00a0major challenge for the general contractor are underground collisions with the old mining infrastructure and municipal utilities not included in\u00a0the design documentation. \u2013 There were complications in\u00a0the work schedule resulting from collisions of underground installations that were not covered by\u00a0the project. Despite the adversities, we\u00a0do\u00a0not plan to\u00a0slow down,\u201d adds Popko.<\/p>\n

The Wa\u0142brzych bypass is an important project from the perspective of the city\u2019s residents. The road will improve the comfort and speed of communication to\u00a0workplaces, schools and public facilities. The contract deadline for the completion of the works is June 2021, and the net value of the investment is PLN 249,637,589.90.<\/p>\n

Budimex is a\u00a0leader in\u00a0road infrastructure projects in\u00a0Poland. The Wa\u0142brzych bypass has been under construction since last year. Year. This is one of many investments that will improve the movement of local and other communities by\u00a0land. Budimex will also build the S5 expressway in\u00a0the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship and the S5 expressway in\u00a0the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. The contracts for the construction of both were signed in\u00a0April this year.<\/p>\n
