Budimex supported over 20 facilities fighting COVID-19<\/h2>\n

Budimex, together with the We\u00a0Are Together \u2013 We\u00a0Help Foundation, has so far supported more than 20 hospitals across Poland financially and materially in\u00a0the fight against COVID-19. The general contractor in\u00a0the construction industry has also extended this aid to\u00a0nursing homes and municipalities. The total amount that the Budimex Group will allocate\u00a0 to\u00a0the fight against the coronavirus is nearly PLN 3 million. Ten more facilities will receive support in\u00a0the coming weeks. <\/strong><\/p>\n

In\u00a0May alone, the Budimex Group allocated nearly half a\u00a0million zlotys to\u00a0help hospitals and institutions that suffered as\u00a0a\u00a0result of the pandemic. Financial support was provided to\u00a0another seven hospitals, two nursing homes and three municipalities where the Group companies conduct their activities: construction (Budimex SA and Mostostal Krak\u00f3w), development (Budimex Nieruchomo\u015bci) and services (FB Serwis).<\/p>\n

The largest aid was received by\u00a0hospitals in\u00a0the following voivodeships: Mazowieckie, \u0141\u00f3dzkie and Dolno\u015bl\u0105skie. In\u00a0these regions, there was the fastest increase in\u00a0the number of sick people. Now we\u00a0are focusing on\u00a0supporting hospitals and nursing homes, especially where the number of patients is growing the fastest at\u00a0the moment,\u201d he\u00a0says <\/em>Dariusz Blocher \u2013 President of Budimex SA. Our construction sites are present in\u00a0many places in\u00a0Polish. We\u00a0feel co-responsible for the fate of thousands of people affected by\u00a0the epidemic. Budimex has been taking social responsibility very seriously for years. Our help in\u00a0the fight against COVID-19 will last <\/em>\u00a0\u2013 adds Dariusz Blocher.<\/p>\n

Budimex also actively supports the activities of the \u201cWe are together. WE\u00a0ARE HELPING\u201d. It all started with the campaign of the same name, initiated by\u00a0Polish entrepreneurs at\u00a0the beginning of the pandemic. Then the companies joined forces to\u00a0raise as\u00a0much money as\u00a0possible to\u00a0help hospitals. A\u00a0thriving foundation was born from a\u00a0spontaneous initiative, which has so far collected nearly PLN 50 million.\u00a0 Help has already been provided to\u00a0hospitals and nursing homes in: Krak\u00f3w, Warsaw, Wa\u0142brzych, Racib\u00f3rz, \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, Pu\u0142awy, \u017byrard\u00f3w, Sochaczew, Suwa\u0142ki, \u0141a\u0144cut, Pozna\u0144, Sannik and Wroc\u0142aw. The total amount that the Budimex Group will allocate\u00a0 to\u00a0the fight against the coronavirus\u00a0 is nearly PLN 3 million. \u00a0The company also helped with construction works in\u00a0adapting two hospitals to\u00a0receive coronavirus patients. It also provides in-kind aid in\u00a0the form of masks, protective clothing and aseptic fluids.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
