The new school year has begun, and children missing their peers have returned to\u00a0schools and kindergartens after almost a\u00a0six-month break. For the Hello ICE program, it is a\u00a0time for new tasks, a\u00a0chance to\u00a0meet students and preschoolers and, above all, to\u00a0educate the youngest in\u00a0the field of road safety. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The originator of the programme \u2013 Budimex \u2013 has also created an interactive map of dangerous points around schools and kindergartens in\u00a0order to\u00a0work out ways to\u00a0eliminate them as\u00a0quickly as\u00a0possible in\u00a0cooperation with local authorities. On\u00a0the program\u2019s website, ready-made lesson plans on\u00a0safety for teachers are published. You can also find quizzes that children will solve together with their guardians.<\/p>\n

In\u00a02019, as\u00a0part of Hello ICE, Budimex organised Safety Days in\u00a0schools and kindergartens, which were attended by\u00a0over 800 children. As\u00a0part of the program, the company distributed 1400 reflectors and ICE (In\u00a0Case of Emergency) contact cards. The map of dangerous points indicates nearly 400 critical locations near educational institutions.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Hello ICE emphasizes safety education from an early age. We\u00a0adhere to\u00a0the principle that learning through play is the best, which is why the hero of our lessons and Safety Days is Budi the tiger. Last year\u2019s edition clearly showed that both the goal and the selected tools worked well. When the pandemic began, we\u00a0did not slow down. We\u00a0conducted our activities online and expanded them to\u00a0include online security. We\u00a0are supported in\u00a0our activities by\u00a0the ambassador of Hello ICE \u2013 Sebastian Mila, a\u00a0former Polish national football player.<\/em> \u2013 emphasizes Katarzyna W\u00f3jcik, Expert on\u00a0communication in\u00a0Budimex SA.<\/p>\n

This school year, Budimex will adapt its activities to\u00a0epidemiological requirements on\u00a0an ongoing basis. Safety Days will be\u00a0organized outdoors or\u00a0in\u00a0the form of webinars. Budimex also plans to\u00a0paint 3D strips in\u00a0the vicinity of the three schools indicated on\u00a0the programme map to\u00a0increase the safety of children on\u00a0their way to\u00a0and from school.<\/p>\n

Schools and kindergartens can still apply for this year\u2019s edition of Hello ICE to\u00a0win a\u00a0Safety Day at\u00a0their school and a\u00a0meeting with the hero of the action tiger Budi.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Hello ICE program has received the patronage of the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Infrastructure.<\/p>\n
