\n A\u00a0three-dimensional pedestrian crossing will be\u00a0built in\u00a0Bartoszyce. At\u00a0the beginning of September, Budi\u2019s team set off to\u00a0the north of Polish, where, thanks to\u00a0the involvement of one of the mothers and an invitation from the city authorities, they implemented another of the flagship elements of the Hello ICE Budimex for Children educational programme.<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

The originators of the Hello ICE program have set themselves the goal of educating the youngest road users in\u00a0the field of safe behavior on\u00a0the road. The map of dangerous places near school facilities, which Budimex made available on\u00a0the programme\u2019s website, indicates several locations in\u00a0Bartoszyce that are worth paying attention to. The Hello ICE team contacted the city authorities, who expressed interest in\u00a0the project \u2013 together they took care of the necessary permits, confirmed the location and since September residents have been able to\u00a0use a\u00a0safe three-dimensional passage.<\/p>\n

Three-dimensional stripes on\u00a0the road look like an obstacle, which is why they encourage drivers to\u00a0take their foot off the accelerator. In\u00a0Poland, this is not yet a\u00a0widespread solution. The first stripes of this type were painted in\u00a0Lidzbark Warmi\u0144ski on\u00a0a\u00a0bicycle path. Importantly, the optical illusion effect has already passed the test m.in.\u00a0in\u00a0India and Iceland, where drivers, seeing 3D markings, took their foot off the accelerator, and the speed of vehicles decreased by\u00a0an average of 40%.<\/p>\n

\u2013 As\u00a0part of the Hello ICE campaign, Budimex will paint three-dimensional stripes in\u00a0two more towns. But these are not all the activities carried out under the program. The most important element of it is the education of students in\u00a0grades 1-3 and preschoolers in\u00a0the field of road safety<\/em> \u2013 emphasizes Katarzyna W\u00f3jcik, Expert on\u00a0communication in\u00a0Budimex SA.<\/p>\n

This school year, Budimex will adapt its activities to\u00a0epidemiological requirements on\u00a0an ongoing basis. Safety Days will be\u00a0organized outdoors or\u00a0in\u00a0the form of webinars. Schools and kindergartens can still apply for this year\u2019s edition of Hello ICE to\u00a0win a\u00a0Safety Day at\u00a0their school and a\u00a0meeting with the hero of the action \u2013 Budi the tiger.<\/p>\n

In\u00a02019, as\u00a0part of Hello ICE, Budimex organised Safety Days in\u00a0schools and kindergartens, which were attended by\u00a0over 800 children. As\u00a0part of the program, 1400 reflectors and ICE (In\u00a0Case of Emergency) contact cards were distributed. Currently, nearly 400 critical locations are marked on\u00a0the map of dangerous places.<\/p>\n

The Hello ICE Budimex for Children programme has received the honorary patronage of the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Infrastructure.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
