The social initiative #niezwalniajmy was awarded in\u00a0the XXIII edition of the \u201cBenefactor of the Year\u201d competition. In\u00a0June, Budimex, the leader in\u00a0the construction market, which employs over 7 thousand people, became a\u00a0participant in\u00a0the campaign.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

In\u00a0this year\u2019s edition of the \u201cBenefactor of the Year\u201d competition, 11 winners were selected \u2013 companies that implemented the most interesting social projects in\u00a02019. The jury decided to\u00a0award 6 additional distinctions in\u00a0the category \u201cSocially engaged in\u00a0the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n

#Niezwalniajmy is an action promoting and supporting activities aimed at\u00a0protecting as\u00a0many jobs as\u00a0possible. Since mid-April, nearly 50 companies have joined the initiative, declaring that if they need to\u00a0reduce costs due to\u00a0an unfavorable financial situation, they will first reduce expenses other than those related to\u00a0employment. Budimex was the first large company to\u00a0join the programme.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2013 Our goal when joining the #niezwalniajmy campaign was to\u00a0maintain the current level of employment and ensure continuity of work for our employees. So far, we\u00a0have been able to\u00a0fulfill this mission, because the negative effects of the coronavirus pandemic have so far had a\u00a0small impact on\u00a0the construction industry. We\u00a0continue our activities and continue to\u00a0sign new contracts<\/em> \u2013 says Cezary M\u0105czka, Member of the Management Board, Director of Human Resources Management at\u00a0Budimex SA.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe essence of the project is also to\u00a0draw attention to\u00a0the importance of interpersonal cooperation and solidarity for everyone in\u00a0this difficult moment, where both employers can count on\u00a0their employees and vice versa,\u201d <\/em>adds Cezary M\u0105czka.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Budimex is a\u00a0reliable and stable employer that is constantly expanding its team of construction specialists and engineers. In\u00a0the first quarter of 2020. It has hired more than 100 people and expects to\u00a0hire a\u00a0total of around 500 employees this year. Currently, the general contractor is recruiting in\u00a0every province in\u00a0the country to\u00a0implement cubature and infrastructure investments.\u00a0<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
