Budimex is one of the two best-rated construction companies in\u00a0the country by\u00a0subcontractors. This is confirmed by\u00a0the latest research conducted among over 300 companies by\u00a0the ASM Analysis and Market Research Center.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Budimex was indicated as\u00a0the best general contractor offering the most favourable financial terms and timely payments. It is also recommended as\u00a0the best partner for the implementation of joint projects. Taking into account all the criteria of cooperation, such as\u00a0safety or\u00a0recommendations for other partners, Budimex was among the top two best-rated construction companies.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Budimex\u2019s experience has once again been appreciated by\u00a0professionals from the construction industry. We\u00a0cooperate with many companies in\u00a0the implementation of investments and for years we\u00a0have been trying to\u00a0make cooperation with subcontractors as\u00a0good as\u00a0possible. We\u00a0are glad that the market notices this and recognizes us as\u00a0a\u00a0reliable partner<\/em> \u2013 says Dariusz Blocher, President of the Management Board, CEO of Budimex.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0order to\u00a0ensure the security of subcontractors\u2019 interests and the continuity of construction works, Budimex offers the possibility of spreading payments into smaller amounts, which it implements on\u00a0time. The general contractor also pursues a\u00a0transparent financial policy.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Cooperation with general contractors is particularly important not only from the perspective of the investor, but also from the perspective of the subcontractor. A\u00a0proven general contractor can ensure the highest standard of cooperation. We\u00a0are talking here about issues as\u00a0important for every company as\u00a0financial security, low risk of insolvency, stability and prospects for the development of long-term cooperation or\u00a0predictability of business behavior. Undoubtedly, special importance should also be\u00a0attached to\u00a0occupational safety requirements. General contractors, based on\u00a0industry standards, expect and ensure the highest level of safety for all employees, including staff <\/em>subcontractors<\/em> \u2013 explains Jan Styli\u0144ski, President of the Polish Association of Construction Industry Employers.<\/p>\n

General contractors who run extensive projects often have to\u00a0deal with a\u00a0low margin. The larger the scale of the contract, the greater the profitability problems of the contractors conducting them, and thus the greater the possibility of potential losses. Admittedly, the situation of giants on\u00a0the market has improved recently. According to\u00a0the Central Statistical Office, their profitability ratio increased from 1.2% in\u00a02018 to\u00a02.4% at\u00a0the beginning of 2020. In\u00a0the case of the small and medium-sized enterprise sector, these indicators are much more favorable. The profitability of medium-sized enterprises increased from 5.1% to\u00a07.3%, and the profitability of small enterprises from 8.8% to\u00a010.6%.<\/p>\n

An example of a\u00a0large company that at\u00a0the beginning of 2020 recorded a\u00a0higher gross profit margin in\u00a0the construction part (compared to\u00a0the second quarter of 2019) was Budimex SA with a\u00a0result of 2.2% at\u00a0the end of the first half of the year. The company carries out construction contracts with the help of many subcontractors and suppliers, and the quality of this cooperation is confirmed by\u00a0the latest report prepared by\u00a0ASM Center for Analysis and Market Research.<\/p>\n

Budimex is one of the largest Polish construction companies. It performs work on\u00a0more than 200 contracts and cooperates with about 15,000\u00a0subcontractors and suppliers. The company mostly works with local companies in\u00a0the areas where it implements construction projects. This is beneficial not only for the course of the investment, but also for local development.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
