Budimex was honoured with a\u00a0distinction in\u00a0the prestigious \u201cThe Best Annual Report 2019\u201d competition for the best statement on\u00a0the application of corporate governance in\u00a0the company. The competition is organized for listed companies by\u00a0the Institute of Accounting and Taxes. The aim of the competition is to\u00a0promote annual reports with the highest utility value for shareholders and investors. Companies from the regulated market as\u00a0well as\u00a0from NewConnect take part in\u00a0it. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u00a0have been awarded in\u00a0this competition<\/em>\u00a0 for the first time,\u201d says Cezary M\u0105czka, Member of the Management Board of Budimex SA and Director of the Human Resources Management Division.\u00a0 It is extremely important to\u00a0us because it is organized by\u00a0entities co-creating the stock exchange and financial system in\u00a0Poland. In\u00a0terms of the quality of corporate governance communication for 2019, we\u00a0stand in\u00a0line with the likes of PGNiG, PGE and Grupa Azoty<\/em>\u00a0 \u2013 says Cezary M\u0105czka.<\/p>\n

Results of the 15. edition of \u201cThe Best Annual Report\u201d competition were announced on\u00a0October 15 during a\u00a0ceremonial gala held in\u00a0the Quotation Room in\u00a0the building of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. This competition is one of the most important and most valued competitions of this type in\u00a0Poland. The strategic patron of the competition is the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The aim of the \u201cThe Best Annual Report\u201d competition is to\u00a0create good practices and standards for the preparation of annual reports, in\u00a0accordance with the applicable formal requirements and recommendations of international institutions. The Accounting and Tax Institute promotes reports with the highest utility value for shareholders and investors.<\/p>\n
