Budimex joins the social campaign to\u00a0raise awareness of the threat posed to\u00a0health by\u00a0COVID-19 and the coronavirus. The new spot, in\u00a0which the characters talk about the authentic effects caused by\u00a0the disease, will be\u00a0broadcast online from mid-January 2021. The experiences presented in\u00a0the film are based on\u00a0real accounts of people who have undergone the disease. The aim of the campaign is to\u00a0draw attention to\u00a0the threat posed by\u00a0the epidemic, despite the start of vaccinations. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The largest Polish general construction contractor got involved in\u00a0the fight against COVID as\u00a0early as\u00a0spring 2020 and since then has supported more than 30 hospitals and care facilities with funds and material donations worth over PLN 3 million.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The epidemic will continue to\u00a0affect our private and professional lives<\/em> \u2013 says Cezary M\u0105czka, Member of the Management Board of Director. Human Resources Management Budimex SA \u2013 We\u00a0would like the number of new cases to\u00a0be\u00a0as\u00a0low as\u00a0possible, especially in\u00a0spring. It still depends to\u00a0a\u00a0large extent on\u00a0ourselves, how we\u00a0behave socially and whether we\u00a0follow the rules of hygiene <\/em>\u2013Adds.<\/p>\n

Although the construction industry has been affected by\u00a0economic restrictions to\u00a0a\u00a0lesser extent than other sectors of the economy, Budimex estimates the costs caused by\u00a0the pandemic so far at\u00a0PLN 30 million.<\/p>\n
