February 22, 2021 Budimex has signed a\u00a0contract for the performance of comprehensive construction and installation works related to\u00a0the construction of the hospital building at\u00a0ul.\u00a0Stanis\u0142aw Staszic\u00a0 in\u00a0Lublin. The contract is being implemented as\u00a0part of the \u201cReconstruction and expansion of the Independent Public Clinical Hospital No. 1 in\u00a0Lublin\u201d, which the general contractor has been carrying out since October 2019. The signed contract, worth over PLN 94 million, is the third stage of works scheduled for May 30, 2022. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The expansion of the Clinical Hospital is one of the largest investments in\u00a0the area of health care development in\u00a0Lublin. As\u00a0part of the contract worth nearly PLN 97 million, implemented since October 2019, Budimex is responsible for the construction of the new G-16 building, including, among m.in, a\u00a0new operating theatre, A&E, intensive care unit, as\u00a0well as\u00a0diagnostic facilities and laboratories. At\u00a0the end of February, the general contractor signed a\u00a0contract for the performance of construction and installation works related to\u00a0the comprehensive finishing and equipment of the facilities. This third stage of activities will last until the end of May 2022.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Budimex has extensive experience in\u00a0the construction of medical facilities in\u00a0Poland. The new block of the Clinical Hospital will be\u00a0an extremely modern facility equipped with high-quality equipment, enabling patients to\u00a0access the best diagnostics<\/em> \u00a0\u2013 explains Artur Popko, Vice-President of the Management Board of Budimex SA, Chief Operating Officer.<\/p>\n

Work on\u00a0the construction site is not slowing down. Budimex is currently carrying out construction works in\u00a0the \u201cC\u201d and \u201cB\u201d segments. Segment \u201cC\u201d located from ul.\u00a0Staszica is made in\u00a0monolithic, reinforced concrete technology. The general contractor is in\u00a0the process of constructing the fifth ceiling (out of a\u00a0total of seven), while in\u00a0the \u201cB\u201d segment located from Al.\u00a0Tysi\u0105clecia and made in\u00a0mixed prefabricated-monolithic technology, work is now underway on\u00a0level 3 of the ceiling, and there are still 5 ceilings and a\u00a0helipad slab to\u00a0be\u00a0assembled. Budimex is also currently performing water insulation, roofing on\u00a0the already completed \u201cA\u201d segment, installing window joinery and making external networks. The progress of activities at\u00a0this stage of reconstruction is approx. 70 per cent.<\/p>\n

The expansion of the Clinical Hospital in\u00a0Lublin is another investment of this type by\u00a0Budimex. The company\u2019s portfolio also includes m.in projects. the clinical hospital in\u00a0Bia\u0142ystok, the non-invasive medicine center in\u00a0Gda\u0144sk, the psychiatric hospital in\u00a0Z\u0105bki and the Oncology Center of the Lublin Region. The general contractor is also currently completing the expansion of the hospital in\u00a0Gorz\u00f3w Wielkopolski. \u00a0<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
