At the next, increased stage of works, two platforms of the long-distance line No. 6 and No. 7 will be excluded from use. Budimex S.A. will start the demolition of the platforms and adjacent tracks. The works also require the suspension of train traffic on one of the two tracks of the long-distance line between Warszawa Zachodnia and Warszawa Centralna. Single-track trains will run on the ring line on the Warszawa Zachodnia \u2013 Warszawa Wola section.<\/p>\n

More than 70 subcontractors and suppliers, 550 people and 150 units of equipment are currently working on the construction site. So far, the contractor has already prepared the supports\u00a0of the new passage over the platforms. In mid-April, the elements of the footbridge will be slid over the structures. In the area of the substation, Budimex removed\/rebuilt over 100 collisions in underground installations. The construction of diaphragm walls for the underground structure of the station is progressing up to a depth of 26 meters under the ground, i.e. to the depth of the eight-storey building. The diaphragm walls will be filled with over 30,000 m3 of concrete.<\/div>\n

In order to build a wider underground passage, a fragment of the current passage from the side of ul. Tunelowa. The construction of a new \u2013 wider \u2013 tunnel and three platforms \u2013 including one additional one \u2013 will be built. From the beginning of April, passengers will reach platform 5 via a new route from Wola. The access time will not change in relation to the current route to platform 7.<\/div>\n
Budimex has already postponed over 100 collisions in underground infrastructure and traffic control installations at the future Warszawa Zachodnia station. The supports are readyof a new passage on level +1 above the platforms. In mid-April, the sliding of the crossing itself will begin on the new one. At the moment, the construction of diaphragm walls of the entire underground structure of the station to a depth of up to 26 meters below ground level, i.e. to the depth of the eight-storey building, is underway. The walls will be filled with over 30,000 m3 of concrete. From the beginning of April, passengers will be able to access platform 5 through a new access from Wola. The access time will not be longer compared to the current access to platform 7.<\/div>\n

Within the next month, the demolition of the already closed platforms 7 and 6 and the adjacent tracks will begin. More than 70 subcontractors and suppliers, 550 people and 150 units of equipment are currently working on the construction site.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
In order to shorten the time of access to the active platforms from the Wola side, we have launched a six-seater electric Budimelex for passengers, running between the bus terminus at ul. Tunelowa and platform 8 of Warszawa Zachodnia (ring line). The ride shortens the time from 15 minutes (in the walking version) to 2-3 minutes by electric car. Nearly a thousand passengers have already used the transport.<\/div>\n

Subsequent elements of the steel structure are brought from the factory and assembled on site.A structure is being prepared that will allow us to push this footbridge onto the platforms.On individual platforms, the supports of the footbridge are being prepared, but the footbridge is not only what you see, but also its foundation. We are in very complicated ground conditions here, so we had to make nearly 7 kilometers of foundation piles underground to prepare the supports.\u201d<\/em> \u2013 said Jakub Konkiewicz, Contract Director.<\/div>\n
