The House from the Heart for Magda and her large family from Wierzbica near Radomsko is ready! On Friday, March 26, the ceremonial handover of the keys took place. All project partners, stakeholders and the media were invited to the event. The family will be able to move into their new home before Easter. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The motive for organizing the House from the Heart campaign was the difficult situation of Magda\u2019s family of 16. In 2020, the media became interested in her fate, as the court decided to\u00a0deprive the mother of the right to custody of eleven minor children. This decision was to be made due to difficult living conditions. The President of Budimex, Mr Dariusz Blocher, moved by the story, decided to help the family. This is how the House from the Heart campaign was born, under which, in cooperation with over 20 companies, a spacious house was built in Wierzbica near Radomsko.<\/p>\n

After intensive work, Magda and\u00a0her children can move into their new home in March. The implementation of this project is a gesture of heart and solidarity of companies. They were not indifferent to the need to help. The campaign also inspires other organisations to come together to support families in need.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the cooperation of more than 20 partners, the family will soon live in a house with an area of\u00a0220m2<\/sup>. There are 9 rooms with 4 bathrooms and two dressing rooms. The house has been finished on a turnkey\u00a0 basis and\u00a0is a living space where children will have the right conditions to learn and develop their talents. It also has a permanent broadband Internet connection and new computers and tablets.<\/p>\n

On Friday, March 26, the ceremonial handover of the keys to the new house took place. All project partners, stakeholders and regional media were invited to the meeting. During the event, the most important events in the construction of the\u00a0house were summarized and presented. Mrs. Magda and her whole family were shown around the new house. Some questions and answers for the media were also planned.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cThe construction of the House from the Heart has come to an end. We are very happy that despite the difficulties related to the pandemic, we were able to complete the project on time. Magda will be able to spend Easter in a new, comfortable home. I would like to thank all partners for their commitment. Thanks to you, we were able to change the fate of this family together. I encourage other companies to undertake similar support campaigns\u201d <\/em>\u2013 emphasizes Dariusz Blocher, President of the Management Board of Budimex SA<\/p>\n

The situation of large families, often\u00a0living in difficult living and housing conditions, is a large-scale social problem. We encourage other companies, including those in the construction industry,\u00a0 to take similar initiatives<\/em>\u201c<\/em> \u2013 adds Dariusz Blocher<\/p>\n

\u201cMrs. Magdalena was deprived of eleven of her fifteen children and placed in the so-called \u201cfoster care\u201d. Why? It was found that the conditions at home did not allow Magdalena to raise her children. If redNet Dom could contribute to creating a decent living space for this family \u2013 a home, we entered this project without hesitation, signing it with our hands and feet! We hope that the space that has been created with our help will provide the whole family with safety for many years\u201d \u2013<\/em> Katarzyna Jankowska, redNet Dom<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is strength in the team, this is how the initiative of Budimex can be summed up in a nutshell, as it has invited many partners to this wonderful project, including our company AkzoNobel. Magda and her children, together with spring, will start a new stage of life in a colorful house adapted for such a large family. During the construction works, we took care of the safety of employees by providing a number of temporary full fences to the site.
