28.04.2020 a contract was concluded between Budimex S.A. and the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Olsztyn Branch, for the construction of the S-5 expressway on the Ornowo \u2013 Wirwajdy section in the Olsztyn Province. Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.<\/p>\n

Contract value: PLN 165,603,607.00 net. The road will be covered by a five-year warranty. The completion date is 31 months from the date of conclusion of the contract.<\/p>\n

The construction of the S5 road on the Ornowo \u2013 Wirwajdy section will cover a section of approx. 5 km. The task includes the construction of additional roadways serving the adjacent area. Transverse roads of other categories colliding with the S5 road will be rebuilt. It will be a road with a dual carriageway cross-section. The Ostr\u00f3da West junction, four viaducts and two crossings for large animals will be built on it.<\/p>\n

The construction of the Ornowo \u2013 Wirwajdy section of the S5 expressway is a continuation of the Ostr\u00f3da bypass along national road No. 16, which will ultimately become part of the S5 expressway on the Grudzi\u0105dz \u2013 Ostr\u00f3da section and will be part of the expressway route in northern Poland on the east-west line.<\/p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
