\n 12 May this year Budimex has signed a\u00a0contract with the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways in\u00a0Warsaw for the construction of the S7 expressway on\u00a0the Modlin-Czosn\u00f3w section in\u00a0the Mazowieckie Voivodeship. The works will include the construction of an expressway with a\u00a0length of approx. 10 km and 20 km of service roads.<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

\n Three lanes in\u00a0each direction<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

Under the contract, Budimex will be\u00a0responsible for preparing the construction design, obtaining the necessary decisions, and then constructing a\u00a09.7 km long section of the S7 expressway with a\u00a0dual carriageway cross-section with three lanes in\u00a0each direction.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

These are the next stages of the S7 investment in\u00a0the S7 province. Mazowieckie. The new road will allow the residents of Warsaw and the Tri-City to\u00a0have a\u00a0safe road connection. I\u00a0would like to\u00a0thank our partners for being strongly involved in\u00a0investments despite the epidemic<\/em> \u2013 said Andrzej Adamczyk \u2013 Minister of Infrastructure during the signing of the contract.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

We\u00a0have the current bridge to\u00a0rebuild and it will be\u00a0a\u00a0total of over 30 km of service roads and the main road. The whole team is ready, we\u00a0are starting design work for which we\u00a0have the next 10 months. Our experience and competences gained also on\u00a0the construction of the A1 between Tuszyn and Piotrk\u00f3w allow us to\u00a0think with optimism: we\u00a0will complete the project before the contract deadline. We\u00a0believe in\u00a0this because the cooperation with the customer is very good, for which we\u00a0are grateful <\/em>\u2013 \u00a0said Dariusz Blocher \u2013 President of Budimex.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Construction works will be\u00a0carried out under car traffic. It will be\u00a0a\u00a0demanding construction because we\u00a0plan to\u00a0keep both roadways under car traffic, but the period from 2021 to\u00a02023 will certainly require patience from drivers. We\u00a0apologize in\u00a0advance for the inconvenience ahead.<\/em> \u2013 added Dariusz Blocher.<\/p>\n

Modlin-Czosn\u00f3w is the third section of works as\u00a0part of the adaptation of DK7 to\u00a0the parameters of the expressway on\u00a0the P\u0142o\u0144sk-Czosn\u00f3w section. Ultimately, the S7 expressway will have 3 lanes in\u00a0each direction. The contractor will take care of m.in.\u00a0widening of the existing road, construction of junctions and connections for local traffic between the junctions, construction of bridges along the future S7 and viaducts within and over the expressway, as\u00a0well as\u00a0expansion of two existing road junctions: Modlin and B\u0142onie. The investment will also \u00a0include acoustic screens and animal crossings.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n Comfort of travelers<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

Budimex will also take care of the functionality of the infrastructure not only for those travelling by\u00a0car. The bridge over the Vistula River in\u00a0Zakroczym will gain a\u00a0sidewalk and a\u00a0bicycle path In\u00a0addition, m.in will be\u00a0built. a\u00a0service area and pedestrian tunnels. The contractual deadline for the completion of the works is May 2023, and the value of the investment is PLN 486,827,545.00 net.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The construction of the S7 on\u00a0the Modlin-Czosn\u00f3w section is another road infrastructure project carried out by\u00a0Budimex. Budimex is also constructing sections of the S19 Via Carpatia in\u00a0the Province of S19. Podkarpackie, the S6 Kashubian Route in\u00a0the province of Pomorskie and Via Baltica S61 in\u00a0the Voivodeship. Podlaskie. The company also currently operates m.in.\u00a0works on\u00a0the construction of the Wa\u0142brzych bypass in\u00a0the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. In\u00a0addition, in\u00a0April this year. Budimex has also signed\u00a0 two contracts: for the construction of the S5 expressway in\u00a0the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship and the S5 expressway in\u00a0the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
