On 27.04.2020. an agreement was concluded between Budimex S.A. and the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Bydgoszcz Branch, for the \u201cContinuation of the design and construction of the S-5 expressway on the section from the Nowe Marzy junction (without the junction) to the Dworzysko junction (with the junction) with a length of 10 km. Ok. 23.3 km.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Budimex will continue work after another general contractor, which completed 29% of the material value of the contract. Construction works will begin immediately. The contractual deadline for the construction is 22 months, excluding winter months. The works should be completed by the end of 2022. Budimex also submitted the most advantageous bid in the tender and was called upon to sign a contract for the construction of another section of the S5 \u2013 Ornowo \u2013 Wirwajdy in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.<\/p>\n

Scope of work on the S5 \u2013 Nowe Marzy \u2013 Dworzysko<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bridge scope \u2013 basic information:<\/span><\/p>\n

A total of 38 bridge structures.<\/p>\n

New objects: 4.
Facilities for renovation: 20 (including 4 structures along the S5 with demolition of the old one and replacement of the span with a new one)
Objects to be completed: 14<\/p>\n

Concrete: 15 thousand m3
Reinforcement: 1500 tons of steel.
Retaining walls: 6500 m2 of retaining walls to be built.<\/p>\n

Road range \u2013 basic information:<\/span>
To construct 24k m of the S5 expressway, including 5 road junctions
400 thousand\/ton of mineral and bituminous mixtures for installation
520 thousand\/ton of excavation and 450 thousand\/ton of embankment to be built in<\/p>\n

Industry scope \u2013 basic information:<\/span>
Construction of 24 km of service duct
Construction of a rainwater drainage system and 28 retention reservoirs
Construction of a traffic management system
Construction of power supply and lighting for 5 road junctions<\/p>\n
