\n Budimex has completed works on\u00a0an 18.9-kilometre section of the S5 expressway. Since 14 December, drivers have been driving on\u00a0a\u00a0modern road connecting Pozna\u0144 and Wroc\u0142aw. One of the most important contracts in\u00a0the Wielkopolska Region was completed on\u00a0time. The investor is the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Branch in\u00a0Pozna\u0144.<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

The result of the construction works started by\u00a0Budimex in\u00a0January 2018 is the commissioning of the last section of the expressway along with the accompanying infrastructure. As\u00a0part of the investment carried out in\u00a0the \u201cdesign and build\u201d mode at\u00a0the request of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Pozna\u0144 Branch, 22 engineering structures and two road junctions were built: Czempin and Ko\u015bcian P\u00f3\u0142noc. The route has been equipped with two service areas \u201cKokorzyn\u201d and \u201cSierakowo\u201d as\u00a0well as\u00a0a\u00a0network of access and technological roads.<\/p>\n

The value of the project is PLN 292.1 million. The opening of the new road will reduce the \u00a0travel time on\u00a0the Pozna\u0144-Wroc\u0142aw route by\u00a020 minutes, from two and a\u00a0half hours to\u00a0two hours and ten minutes, and will improve safety.<\/p>\n

Budimex, as\u00a0the leader of the Polish construction industry, implements many investments in\u00a0the country. Currently, the company builds every 4 kilometers of expressway or\u00a0motorway in\u00a0Poland, and 80 percent of the company\u2019s construction of the U.S. of its contracts is implemented ahead of schedule. Later this year, the company plans to\u00a0open the S17 route, on\u00a0the Garwolin-Ko\u0142biel section between Lublin and Warsaw, and to\u00a0complete road works on\u00a0the A1, on\u00a0the section of the Cz\u0119stochowa bypass and the S7 bypass of Skar\u017cysko Kamienna.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
