At\u00a0the moment, the problems related to\u00a0the coronavirus \u2013 as\u00a0a\u00a0force majeure event \u2013 have a\u00a0low impact on\u00a0Budimex\u2019s operations and the performance of construction contracts.<\/p>\n

The development of the disease in\u00a0the coming weeks may affect access to\u00a0some employees, both own and subcontractors, and thus slow down the work. In\u00a0the short term, we\u00a0expect the interruption of the foreign supply chain on\u00a0several percent of our construction sites and a\u00a0reduction in\u00a0the availability of employees \u2013 mainly subcontractors and from abroad.<\/p>\n

The current situation, along with negative development, may affect the timeliness of construction projects, about which we\u00a0keep our customers informed. If the current state of affairs persists in\u00a0the long term, it will have a\u00a0negative impact on\u00a0all construction sites carried out by\u00a0Budimex and the pace of construction production in\u00a0Poland.<\/p>\n

Remote building does not exist. It requires the involvement of people, equipment and materials. That is why we\u00a0focus on\u00a0activities that ensure the safety of employees and, at\u00a0the same time, the uninterrupted implementation of all construction contracts. Budimex has a\u00a0crisis management team. We\u00a0have already implemented preventive measures more than two weeks ago. We\u00a0modify the organization of work.<\/p>\n

The Management Board and the Group\u2019s management monitor the epidemiological and legal situation on\u00a0an ongoing basis and if there is a\u00a0need to\u00a0change the procedure, decisions are made immediately.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
