Budimex S.A. will build a\u00a0modern ward on\u00a0the premises of the University Clinical Hospital and the University Children\u2019s Clinical Hospital im.\u00a0L. Zamenhoff. The planned completion date of the works is May 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n

To\u00a0sign the contract for the construction of the Psychiatry Center at\u00a0ul.\u00a0M. Sk\u0142odowska-Curie in\u00a0Bia\u0142ystok, took place on\u00a0March 24 this year. The Medical University has entrusted the implementation of the investment worth over PLN 28.7 million to\u00a0Budimex. The project will be\u00a0carried out in\u00a0the \u201cdesign and build\u201d system. The company will be\u00a0responsible for: preparation of design documentation, obtaining building and occupancy permits for the resulting investment and execution works. \u201cWe are glad that once again we\u00a0have been trusted by\u00a0the University Clinical Hospital in\u00a0Bia\u0142ystok. This is a\u00a0great success for us, but also a\u00a0challenge. Similarly to\u00a0the construction of clinical wards carried out by\u00a0us in\u00a02011-2018, in\u00a0the current project we\u00a0will use the knowledge and experience that we\u00a0believe will again be\u00a0a\u00a0source of satisfactory effect for both parties,\u201d says Dariusz Blocher, President of the Management Board, CEO of Budimex SA.<\/p>\n

Space for everyone<\/strong>
The total area of the building will take approx. 5080 m\u00b2, of which approx. 3846 m\u00b2 will be\u00a0the usable area. The facility with a\u00a0cubic capacity of approx. 12,900 m\u00b3 will accommodate patients of all ages. There will be\u00a076 beds available in\u00a0the ward: 40 for adults and 36 for children and adolescents. The ward will also be\u00a0equipped with facilities for the disabled, including two internal elevators, enabling efficient communication within the facility.<\/p>\n

Three-level design<\/strong>
In\u00a0the design similar to\u00a0the inverted letter D, an internal patio was separated. The ward will cover four floors, including 3 above-ground and 1 underground. The design of the Psychiatry Centre includes the construction of two main entrances \u2013 to\u00a0the Adult Psychiatry Clinic on\u00a0the north side, and to\u00a0the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic on\u00a0the south side. In\u00a0addition, two ramps will be\u00a0built for ambulances.<\/p>\n

Budimex has been implementing construction projects throughout Poland for over fifty years. The company is a\u00a0contractor of investments for business, but also for public facilities, including medical facilities. He\u00a0has built the University Clinical Hospital in\u00a0Bia\u0142ystok, the Medical Biology Center in\u00a0Pozna\u0144, and expanded the University Hospital in\u00a0Bydgoszcz. For the completed design of the didactic facility \u2013 the Pharmacy of the Medical University of Lublin, the leader of the construction industry was awarded the \u201cGolden Trowel\u201d.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
