\n Budimex SA won an award in\u00a0the \u201cConstruction of the Year 2018\u201d competition for the construction of the multifunctional Nuctech factory in\u00a0Koby\u0142ka. The distinction was awarded in\u00a0the category \u201cindustrial and production facilities\u201d. <\/strong>\n <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

For the twenty-ninth time, the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians has handed out annual awards for the best construction projects. As\u00a0in\u00a0previous years, Budimex SA was among the winners of this prestigious award. This time, the recognition was won by\u00a0the production and warehouse building with a\u00a0social and office part and technical installations, created for Nuctech Warsaw Company. \u2013 The \u201cConstruction of the Year\u201d award is a\u00a0great honour for us, especially since the jury evaluates the projects taking into account the criteria on\u00a0which Budimex has been placing particular emphasis for years. We\u00a0are talking m.in.\u00a0about good organization of work, and thus also the safety of people on\u00a0the construction site <\/em>\u2013 says Dariusz Blocher, President of Budimex SA.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The contract for the construction of the investment for Nuctech was signed in\u00a0June 2017. As\u00a0part of this project, a\u00a0facility with a\u00a0usable area of over 5.4 thousandm2<\/sup> was built in\u00a0Koby\u0142ka, which includes a\u00a0production and warehouse hall and a\u00a0social and office part. The general contractor also created a\u00a0test shelter, a\u00a0gatehouse with installations and a\u00a0rainwater retention tank with a\u00a0capacity of 160.00m3 <\/sup>\u00a0. The investment has been supplemented with elements of the necessary road infrastructure, i.e. a\u00a0communication system with a\u00a0fire road, sidewalks and parking lots.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The title of \u201cConstruction of the Year\u201d is awarded to\u00a0buildings that stand out m.in.\u00a0modern technological solutions, the quality of work carried out and a\u00a0safe working environment. Last year, Budimex SA became a\u00a0triple winner in\u00a0this competition. The awards were given to\u00a0the company for the Krak\u00f3w Zab\u0142ocie \u2013 Krak\u00f3w Podg\u00f3rze railway connection and for the design and construction of a\u00a0section of the S5 expressway on\u00a0the Pozna\u0144 \u2013 Krak\u00f3w route. The construction of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Jagiellonian University in\u00a0Krakow was also awarded.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
