On\u00a024.07.2019. an agreement was concluded between the consortium composed of: STRABAG Infrastruktura Po\u0142udnie Sp. z\u00a0o.o. (Leader 45%), Budimex S.A. (Partner 45%), Budpol Sp. z\u00a0o.o. (Partner 10%) and the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Branch in\u00a0Katowice, for \u201cContinuation of works related to\u00a0the construction of the A1 motorway on\u00a0the section Rz\u0105sawa junction \u2013 Blachownia junction in\u00a0the scope of security works\u201d. Construction works will begin within 14 days.<\/p>\n

The contract, due to\u00a0the deadline for the completion of the works, will require the involvement of a\u00a0large amount of equipment and resources
and their appropriate coordination, which is a\u00a0major logistical challenge. A\u00a0total of over 300 people and over 100 units of construction equipment will work on\u00a0the construction site.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Contract value: PLN 353,173,163.55 net<\/p>\n

Date of commencement of works: date of conclusion of the contract<\/p>\n

Completion date: 15.11.2019<\/p>\n

Warranty period: Cement concrete surfaces \u2013 in\u00a0accordance with the Contractor\u2019s offer, i.e. 5 years<\/p>\n

Warranty period: 60 months from the date indicated in\u00a0the Takeover Certificate<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Budimex is also currently constructing two other sections of the A1 motorway: Tuszyn \u2013 Piotrk\u00f3w and A1 Kamie\u0144sk \u2013 Radomsko.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
